My father was an alcoholic as well, he turned psychotic and beat the shit out of my mum when I was a kid. But he was murdered when I was 7. Unfortunately life took another weird turn for the worse... But that's history.

Mmh... beer {drool}. I just bought a pack of Guinness (I hate that shit, but I'm trying to learn to like it for the sake of... liking it)
oh and, so that this doesn't go too offtopic:
I used to be quite an alcoholic when I started Uni. Well, I could limit my drinking easily to nonschool days but when I drank....  I could easily down 2 bottles of vodka. I've so many blank memories from my past  Then I spent a year in Czech and pretty much would have died of alcohol poisoning if I hadn't met my gf.
Funny... I've actually never even thought that I had a problem with alcohol until... I started thinking of it now. Now I occasionally have wine or so, but haven't been drunk in... a really long time.

drinking alcohol doesnt makes you an alcoholic. An alcoholic person has a dependency for alcohol.
Like a smoker with cigarettes etc. Getting drunk occasionally has nothing to do with being an alcoholic.

Still, I can see it for what it is - a disease that no one deserves. sorry to hear about your situation mate, i'm not sure what i'd do if i had an alcoholic parent now that i'm an adult, but I know what you're going through!

yea m8, ive seen it all since i was atleast 10yrs old. it fucked my head up then, and it still does now. shes allways depressed, amd allways trys to kill herself  it is a disease, and nothing any1 can do |

speaking of alcohol my brother got shitfaced today
i think he never got this drunk his entire life , drank about half a bottle of scotch and some strong ganja
he puked like he was flushing the toilet , and went to sleep
after a short while i heard he started gagging again and saw him moving and thought he was getting up to go to the toilet .. well , he got up , eyes closed i guess that probably means he was still asleep and puked all over himself and then slammed his head against the pillow
he was bearly talking or more like moaning when i brought him home
what a fucking day

Actually, saw someone today at the Marijuana March in Toronto (largest anywhere) with a weed smoothie. I had one and it gave me a nice buzz. I assume you gotta make it from weed oil and weed oil is a pain in the fucking ass to make (tried once, to much effort, I'll just blaze it the way it is ya know). |
