As far as I know it's impossible to improve eyesight, especially when you're older. You can let them rest and feel some improvement, but that's not exactly physical improvement. I never heard of eyes being so special that you absolutely needed a special optician. That's bullcrap.

They can change if you are diabetic. When your glucose is high it can change your vision temp. I am actually surprised his eye doctor didn't recommend a Glucose tolerance test. You get blurred vision strange vision anomalies.
Why the doctor said it was difficult perscrp. was because he has stigmatism but I find it hard to believe you couldn't find glasses on line for that. No doubt the doctor wanted him to buy his glasses to make the money but there is a possibility that he want to do a check up to see if the glasses were the right ones. I know when I buy my glasses I want to try to on before I buy them so I wouldn't do the online thing. My stigmatism is pretty bad too. My contacts are really a problem.

That doesn't make much sense considering how blood glucose levels affect intraocular pressure and Ciliary muscle tone.

spoken like my doctor
its more like a genetic disorder,my pa has Cataract on his eyes,my ma had half-Cataract only on her left eye,my grandfather has diabetes, and i have this photosensitive eyes glucose defect, sounds super cool but its not, i can only thank technology for those photosensitive glasses that dims in bright light to see normally when my glucose is below 50 or 40, when its 60 my vision is blurry on 80 or higher my vision returns to normality

Depends what your prescription is.
Mine is +2 in left eye, +1.3 in the right which is strange, I have a very lazy right eye it seems.

My father taught me a very valuable lesson and now tb is going to share it with you:
The moment you start wearing glasses your retina optically re-aligns to the prescription and that's it for EVER. From that moment onward you are bound to glasses or contacts.
Your eye has no in-built 're-alignment' process, you are buggered, it's as simple as that.
So unless your eyes are already past their sell by date don't listen to an spectacle warehouse like 'Specsavers' they do far more harm than good.
If you get headaches get all other possibilities ruled out first, and remember a lazy gp could curse you forever so do your own research and challenge both doctor and optician.

well they would have to be aligned to something before glasses, so wouldnt glasses be a realignment in the first place? And if there is no realignment how would glasses work?
Not flaming, I just dont understand beyond simple logic. Also it this just another way of
saying, if you need vision correction, and put on glasses, you wont ever see better with them off?
