If someone asks me how I feel, for whatever reason - I take their word and believe their question is sincere. I do not believe in pretend bullshit friendliness; if you don't give a fuck about how I feel; then don't ask. It's that simple.
Mean what you say, say what you mean. So simple, being "courteous, polite" or whatever is just a veil of lies if you do not say or ask what you really meant.
