I bit the bullet and installed win7 a few weeks ago as I had XP, Ive never looked back in terms of performance and useability, I'm still finding my way around but its all good.
I wouldnt touch vista with a long shitty stick but win7 is all the good parts of XP vista (yes there are some) put together.

good to know , most sites say win7x64 & wide-screen not supported for early C&C games

I was all happy yesterday, and found 2 fake releases, 1 was all-stars 360rls and JC1 both relabeled , i wasn't happy ...i had heard that steam full games can be played off-line, but I'm sure cracking it is still alot of work, fingers crossed

true, it was their release relabeled JC2 PC

A word of advice following the Metro 2033 fiasco - Don't download isos of the game, zero day patches are becoming too common and no one uploads the fucking updated files, so, just wait.

Metro was covered pretty well Content.upk0 was part of the initial release as Skidrows "cracked" files (Only exe is needed for the crack.) and update 1 (Second if you count that release date update.) and that stuff was part of their installer for that patch.
Speaking for myself I try to help but I can't do that much, I'd upload more patched stuff if I could but I have limited upload bandwith using ADSL2+ so I can't for example provide the updated Command and Conquer 4 files.
(Launcher is used to login and then it patches the files, first update patched about 3 GB worth of data all in all which is too big for me to handle.)

Come to think of it many months ago the keys for this game was released, I probably posted them already somewhere in the thread but if they still work a early release should be quite feasible.

Well I tought the same, but the filesizes where different across releases for a couple of MB's in some files and it seems the exe checked the size or something, that thing just crashed. But right now I have no issues with the Razor release using the Skidrow update.
And about the keys, expect an early release then, I think, right?
