btw for those complaining about crashes.. if you running in 32 bit mode with ultra settings. thats probably the reason your game crashes.. as it runs out of ram ( from official forums )

well i just had a hard crash.

At the end of second mission (and already i had to play it 3 times, in hard, cause i lost lol.

Anyway, almost at the end, when you have to reach thule , just before i reach him the screen mouse and keyboard freeze (no caps lock, numlock etc, so no alt tab, ctrl-alt-del etc). BUT the game doesn't. i let it go on a bit "in case it unfreezes" and at some point some enemies actually got pulled up to my squads ... and got killed by them ...


PS : I'm running W7 64-bit with 6 gb of ram

Yeah, that's the problem since DOW2 original, but this happens only once in a while, only in campaign and usually while loading mission/debriefing.

No, we have no bears on the streets here in Russia.

When you put the serial in, it will activate it for that account, and you can play online.

the game crashes when i start searching for a last stand match,any solution really want to try out this mode? Confused And how do i remove the intro movie?

I've been playing this in Last Stand for the last few days, and damn, the Chaos Sorcerer has turned into quite a weapon. He is very wimpy, and still, with the proper team, her can be really powerful. 'Let the Galaxy Burn', 'Doombolt', 'Let the Galaxy Burn', 'Doombolt', 'Let the Galaxy Burn', 'Doombolt', ... Razz Add a mature Tyranid and a Summoner, and team is WIN. Very Happy

I'm playing him myself. But I favor 'Let the Galaxy Burn' only. Got those 2 Spell Mastery Items packed with me to shoot 3 bolts of it. It's quite a BBQ and insanely strong xD

But you're right. He demands a good team to be most effective.

Two mastery items are good for summoners, but otherwise are completely unneeded at endgame level. You will see, there is no point of having two mastery items after level 19. Wink

Put Your left leg around Your neck, place Your right hand on Your left toe, then jump in circles around Your PC. Seven times. Then press shift-delete, while standing on Your head.

The only WIN team I had was when well, someone is a good eldar. Farseer can keep teleporting everyone around the whole map, even bodies. Zip in, zip out with body while using mass confuse and letting everyone kill themselves, with a little practice can solo up to 20.

mass confuse is bs tbh.. such crapy spell .. i swear i had more enemies dying to confusion than to mass confusion..

best team i found so far was orc tank with rumble.. and 2 others that can nuke shit out of others.. like sorc and tyranid.. biggest problem.. that setup is so strong you wont pass lvl 16 dupes.. oh we failed on that so many times Very Happy

Anyone else having problems with save games after latest GFWL update?

After some testing, everything works fine with the older GFWL but after update you cant save games (only get 0kb sav files) nor load save files that worked with the older release. This affects both, offline and online profiles.

Latest I can find is still 3.2 from December 2009.
(Signed into the game and it didn't prompt for any update or something like that either.)

Just beat lvl 20 with a Bio-feedback tyranid and a melee farseer, me being a teleporting Ork. We killed every hero in the top right corner, which caused the clones at lvl 20 to revive them instead of fighting us.We focus-fired and even the chaos lord went down fast.

Well... that update. Smile

I just cant figure out why it works on the older one that comes with DOW2CR but as soon as i install the latest one, or allow it to update, it stops working. I'd understand if it was online only but even with clean install of the game and G4WL with offline account no save games are recognized and any saves done result in empty .sav files.

I've found couple sites that mention other people having this exact issue but no solution. e.g.

Yeah it's being uploaded as well (That "blank" edit.) but it's taking a while, 76 MB only (Rar compressed.) but it's very slow for some reason so it'll take a couple of hours.

(Also uploading the Supreme Commander 2 patch at 20 MB but it'll take a while as well.)

Haha strange, it allows me to log in to Live (usually it doesn't if the game is not patched) but it can't find any games. I guess G4WL makes some sort of hash of the files and looks for people with similar file hashes? Razz

This, and this for years. I've got an 6mbit connection. The swedes already got these since about 2000-2004. But I don't think it is related to his connection.
