It's interesting how "holier than thou" people get when they get a macintosh, as was noted elsewhere the one thing Apple users cannot do is STFU.
They have to go around praising their new cult and everybody who says different is quite obviously both retarded, inbred and matter of fact "a waste of time".
It's almost as if Apple computers comes with mandatory brain wash'es, before they can be used.
But I suppose I've already pointed out the problem myself; they're a cult/sect the same way that Watchtower or the "Hubologists" are.
If only I had dime for everytime I've turned Watchtower people down when they've turned up on my doorstep....
The only problem with this kind of logic is that Richard Dawkins is evidently a mac user and so there is no hope for humanity.

Er, it wasnt me who started talking about mac. I made this thread purely to talk about microsoft, not apple  someone started bitching about apple.. |
"Windows this and windows that, while OSX this or OSX that" Isn't keeping it about Windows. It's about pointing out how much better OSX does things, than windows. |

Actually, even if you would use OpenGL, OS X is quite behind Windows (and Linux too). I tried running same games and video players, which use OpenGL, and results were just amazingly bad on the OS X. Doom 3, Quake 4 and BioShock as games, MPlayer, VLC and QuickTime X as video players. Before you assume, I made sure to use either universal binaries or Intel specific, and drivers used were from OS X, not custom kext.

Mac OS X has 20 zero day flaws

WHILE THE THINK DIFFERENT COMPANY Apple continues to smugly tell users that its OS is safer than Windows, an insecurity expert has claimed that it has 20 zero day security flaws.
Security researcher Charlie Miller, who is already known for having discovered a number of bugs in Mac OS X, told Heise Security that the holes are found in closed source Apple products.
He said that the attack surface of OS X is so wide you can land a 747 on it, sideways.
There are bugs in the open source components and vulnerabilities in the closed source third-party and Apple components. All of which can lead to remote compromise of the Mac OS X operating system.
Miller found all the holes by fuzzing, which involves bombarding an application's input channels with as much corrupted data as possible.
He said that Mac OS X is the safest OS because it is miles away from the action. However it is so full of bugs that any hacker who wants to can easily take it down.
"Mac OS X is like living in a farmhouse in the country with no locks, and Windows is living in a house with bars on the windows in the bad part of town," Miller said.
Apple's position with regard to security continues to be quite relaxed. "It will not think it has a security problem until it affects [the company's] bottom line, which hasn't been the case, yet", he said. µ
