Weird I had to change the filter to:

'Search for any terms or use query as entered' rather than 'all terms'.

if I remember correctly the search doesn't work when you add something with less than 3 letters to the search. it'll just not work at all no matter what else you have in the query.

what's with the thread creation spree, tb? Razz

Relax guys. Don't expect much from Deus Ex 3 since the almighty God, Warren Spector isn't on this project.

Yeah, so almighty that he hasn't made a good game in ten years. Yeah, ten years.

As much as I loved his older games, let's face it: Warren is a dried up old man who's probably best where he's at now -- working as a shill for Disney. I'm glad he's not on this project. At least the people developing it appear to be determined to have a real inventory and do something other than unified ammo shit from IW.

i think the strong points of Deus Ex were that u were dragged into the main story slowly, rather then a "sudden event" that makes u aware of some kind conspiracy. This game imo will prolly be a shooter with biotic powers and a tolerable story, nothing fancy.

As for Warren, i think he was good when he got to do his thing in his timeframe. Nowdays publishers are more demanding and wont allow you to do whatever you like..

As for Eidos.. not sure i trust them even though they are brought up by Square Enix, if i am not mistaken.
Also remember the devs of Supreme Commander 2 talking about getting better story in SP with the help of Square Enix. Turns out it was the same shite again more or less.

Anyways, I guess we'll see when it gets out Smile

Umm..got word of forthcoming Eidos games blurb (Thief 4 & Deus Ex 3) so I thought I'd create the two threads in anticipation of the media content that's due soon.
