There are still spoilers in your post - you quoted some. You can't use two spoiler tags in one post though so you're best deleting his spoilers and putting; [spoiler ...] in its place. It's a pain and I don't think they are big spoilers but people who just got the game or are still waiting don't want even minor details revealed to them if possible. Some people might be coming in here with technical issues for example only to read that stuff.

Anyway, the game was sweet. Best adventure game I've played in years. Wasnt without its flaws storywise but the story was certainly great.
A couple of plot holes that fucked me off. Maybe some folks who got alternate endings can answer them:

so the plot holes :
WTF was Carnaby street, and how did Madison know about it?
I didnt find shit about the kid that Kramers son killed..
Why was jadyen inside the AR goggles at the end? wtf?
This biggest one : I heard nothing about ethans nightmares and blackouts, what was going on there? Why was he waking up with origami figures in his hand and blacking out and shit.. did I miss something here?
BTW I had a hunch this fucker was the killer cos I noticed his typewriter instantly, his origami in the flat, and that he was wearing the adult version of the coat that the little scott was wearing

Later on in the game I seemed to get a lot less sound skipping and locking up, so i dunno if its bugs early on, I suspect its just one of those things.

There's more DLC coming.
Let it settle.
I've replayed many of my singleplayer games, but not straight afterwards. Just because Blade Runner had something like 13 endings didn't mean I played it 13 separate times one after the other... I went back to it only occasionally over many years. Sell/exchange it now, at a loss I might add, and you might never be able to justify buying it again and unlike the PC there isn't an easy way of revisiting a game.
But that's my view.

heavy rain is definitely a keeper for me. the DLC should be nice and there will be several chronicles episodes in the future. plus the game is so unique that I can imagine I'll want to show it to someone else eventually.

I got a question for you PS3 guys... I've been delaying the purchase of a PS3 but this game is pushing me to do it.
My question is: Since i already know the ending of the game due to a spoiler (DON'T WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS REGARDING THIS GAME) is it still worth playing it? And buying a PS3 because of it?

The game works on a lot of levels so simply knowing the identity of the killer isn't going to make the journey any less interesting. Your impetus in the game, really, is to find Ethan's son, and the emotional turmoil he goes through - knowing in advance who the killer is will be a bit shitty but it's not going to ruin the game, just spoil one element (which is the game dropping hints and clues throughout waiting for you to twig).

now for some spoilers. If you do not wish to know the cause of Ethan's blackouts from the very early stages of the game.. dont read the spoiler tag below, as some have been saying (including me) that these where plot holes.. but not the case.

The blackouts themselves where caused by trauma from the accident as we've all stated numerous times. But they orgami figures and drowning nightmares are a bit harder to explain but I will do so.
As for waking up holding orgami figures, you have to think. Shelby admitted he had been watching Ethan prior to kidnapping his son. Also, the figure in his hand upon awakening is a dog, Scott's brother and mother's favorite origami figure. The most logical explanation is that Scott moved Ethan during his blackouts and gave him the origami figure as sort of a calling card that he was his next victim.
The drowning can be explained too. Ethan reads a newspaper in his apartment before Shaun gets kidnapped. The details of the Origami Killer are most likely stated in the paper, I.E. kids drowning as it's the killer's MO, so Ethan has nightmares about kid's drowning because he's guilty he couldn't save his son Jason. This just seems like a symptom of PTSD. |

I would say yes, I am enjoying a second play through (although not as quickly as the first) even though I know who the killer is.

Finished it and loved it. This is a great game IMO only let down by the strange technical issues such as the stuttering and audio glitching and sync issues and also by the voice acting which at times is sub par to say the least.
I'll sell it now and get my money back for it but I might buy it again at a later date if they can iron out some of the issues that I mentioned above.

Stuttering from the get go, with pauses that lasted 2 or 3 seconds in some cases and at one point the video stopped but the audio continued to skip forward. I did as ispep suggested and paused the game and them when I resumed it caught up. Since then I haven't had a single problem thankfully other than the odd jitter that looks like its just dropping frames now and again.
