Because the cinema uses better techniques currently only available for very high-end projectors.
Don't worry, the glasses will come with the player.

The Sting 8/10
Great con-movie.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

Worlds Greatest Dad: 8/10 - Finally, Robin Williams does something worth doing. I may get shot down for this, but I really really enjoyed it. It started pretty slowly / poorly, and I even considered turning off after 15 minutes, however I am SO glad I stayed with it. It's a dark / black comedy (- with a strong hint of drama) - and you will either "get it" or you won't. I did, and I really enjoyed it. There was a really good and interesting few messages portrayed about the effects of suicide on a school environment, it was just generally pretty entertaining. Funky sound track too!

Here's an IMDB review which sums it up well:
Quote: | Just watched this at the Sundance Film Festival. Absolutely great film. Dark, smart comedy in the spirit of Rushmore. The Bobcat is BACK! Very good cast; great soundtrack. He uses very real issues to simply tell a story about the relationship between an ungrateful punk kid and a painfully weak father. In the Q&A after the film, Bobcat pointed out that most of the comedies being made these days are basically R-rated films made for 13-year-olds (mindless, raunchy, etc.). World's Greatest Dad is a comedy for adults: insightful, original, uncomfortable at times...hilarious. Robin Williams manages to be miserable, mean, touching, and funny without any conflict at all, an inspired break from his traditional roles. |

I guess this makes another of his black comedy-esque films. Did you see "1 hour Photo"?

the informant 5.5/10
at times interesting, at times kinda funny, but mostly it was kinda annoying. the main character was such an unlikable clumsy douche that it was hard to get in to

I kinda agree, but thought the movie was better than 5.5. Maybe 6.5 here.

The Nines (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0810988/)
I'd give it 7/10, nothin special but not bad either. Recommend seeing it if you have nowhere to put yourself.

give em hell malone 6.5/10
pretty good really. i think they totally nailed it when they gave jane the lead role, he was perfect in this. film was pretty fucking funny for the most part and had some cool action sequences in it, but overall.. i dunno.. its a film that suffers from that 'somethings missing' syndrome... its not any one thing you can say it needed, it just needed something more, for it to be a really great film.
atmosphere was great though.
