But on the contrary this just gives the parents info to pass to their kids to stop pirating their products so their intentions may not be what you think they are.

Leet words possibly indicating illegal activity:

"pwn": A typo-deliberate version of own, a slang term that means to dominate. This could also be spelled "0\/\/n3d" or "pwn3d," among other variations. Online video game bullies or "griefers" often use this term.

aparently saying "pwn" is an indication of illegal activity.
for example:

"I totally pwn3d that store clerk when i auto shottied him in the face"
"This Hu/\/\/\/\3r I stole totally 0wn5"
"DuDe smoKing PuRE 0PiuM 0wn5"

come on now, there might be a large percentage of immature annoying brats playing counter-strike, but as it is one of the better games around, there are some normal people who play it too, you just have to find the right servers...

hilarious article, and there was a sub article in it about "10 tips for dealing with game cyberbullies and griefers"... awesome. (http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/children/griefers.mspx)

Very funny though slightly worrying. They should be producing more software rather than writing silly articles.
