just using 1 private tracker to check out new releases and using rapidshare to download. Cba to start using ratiomaster or whatever and get banned.

Up to now I've mostly found everything I looked for. Yes, every once in a while it gets pretty annoying and some things I haven't found to this day (mostly game guides and stuff like that. They seem to be hard to come by - if you don't use usenet that is).
But I'm rather happy with it torrents just don't cut it for me. I do get the idea of maintaining ratios etc. but I've been fucked over more than once by "bla bla bla you need a ratio of fuckmesideways to download. Upload moar" and all you've got is some completely obscure stuff that nobody wants.

Simply by constantly leaving the computer on at night, the additonal electricity cost and hardware wearout will strike back eventually.
Get a usenet account..its cheaper (although this one too slowly begins to suck, see all the other bitching topics)

Well I think that the people who upload to RS are a little silly because they don't change rar files to sthe like 321546831.part1.rar, they put the name like: Avatar.part1.rar, of course they'll remove it!

Have a rapidshare premium which I bought from a reseller for $18 a year. Never had any problems, can find anything I want, and speeds are superb.

Because mediafire speeds are shit where I live, whereas rapidshare isn't.
