And it's not anything special to boost... I would rather save money and wait for the board with PCI-e 3.0, or USB 3.0, or Sata 3 (6 Gb/s) for that matter. Plus at that time ATi 5780 would be even cheaper so imagine 3 or more of those in Crosfire ^^

Seems totally overkill, and then again sorry to mention this again after Nvidia's rebranding I'm having a hard time looking at anything Nvidia related. What is this 285GTX really a rebranded GeForce 10k?

Why the hell would you use the onboard audio if you spent 500 bucks on a motherboard?

I bet GTA4 will only manage 30 with all these cards in SLI.

Give me MSI's Big Bang Fuzion over this please. I want to tinker with the Hydra chip!
On that note, two of their marketing team told me they were working hard on getting some press releases done just before Christmas; looking at upcoming conventions: Fuzion on display at CES? I SURE HOPE SO

1) There is onboard audio, take a closer peek, 2) Those are all PCIe slots for video cards, so unless someone's released a sound card that needs that kind of bandwidth there is no spot for an external sound card. Either that or PCI cards work in PCIe.....in which case..I didn't know that.

One question remains, does the power plant have enough juice to power 4 Fermi cards?

Pardon my ignorance, but can't you use the larger PCIe interface, only using a small portion of it?

Me neither (as of yet) though I have been looking into it, specifically on my last motherboard that had two PCI-E x8 slots (or a single x16) but no x1 slot. I was going to get a PCI-E soundcard and worried whether or not it would work in a full-size slot.
In the end I replaced the board before I got around to buying the SPU, so it didn't matter anyway. My Asus P5K has got two x8 (or, again, a single x16) and a x1 dedicated for modems/audio.
