What is going on? You used to hear of new video cards practically BEFORE the current generation was on the shelves... I haven't heard of a replacement for the current ones (asides from ati's x850 which is NOT new, its just a speed increase with same tech)... and processors? they've been stuck at the same speed for a long time now Twisted Evil I want some new tech!!! wtf? what is going on!

I can agree on the graphic cards but not on CPU's. Speed is not about everything. It's about the architecture. If cpu makers just increased the clocks everyone would have to use water or even compressor cooling. The new Athlon 64's are pretty fast. The dual core processors are also very close to release both by AMD and Intel.
