One of my mates flashes 360's for people and has said a few of them who have sent their box into MS have still got a working console back for free. Not sure how common it is for this to happen though.

Yeah mine gave the 3 rrod just after 1 year old, i flashed it new and kept the seal intact, and just sent it back still flashed and got a replacement box back with warranty Wink

well the shipping materials are on the way from M$.... I still have my warranty sticker on wax paper (somewhere I hope I can find it), but it is a little scratched up in spots (used a hairdryer but still not perfect). hopefully they are not paying close attention.

if I don't get a replacement that I can flash then it's pretty much useless to me since I don't actually own a single original :/

You know, I don't even use it that much and never really for long periods of time. Probably haven't played it more than ~10hrs/month for the past 12 months (except for when maybe dead space, re5, fear2 and gtaiv came out)... piece of shit Razz
