Did two days of throwing up. Next 3 days will be nothing but liquids. No solid food at all. The most exotic food I get is bullion. Better than throwing up I guess. Through all of this I have learned is when you carry a puke bucket to the doctors office people give you a funny look.

Nah it's not. Chronic disease is causing it. I know what it is. Never gotten this bad though.

I'm on prevacid. It doesn't really help. I'm also on a drug called Zofran that I take when feeling like I am going to throw up. It's like 10 dollars a pill for the generic version. Even that stuff sometimes isn't enough to keep me from puking and it is the strongest anti nausea med you can get.

Fuck, I hate puking. If there is any way to avoid that shit, I usually tend to do it no matter what. Never had it hard though, minor food poisoning is the most I've had. Drink some teas and things like that, though you probably know on your own what's better for you if it's been bugging you for some time already.

The last time I puked was when I had too much wodka... whiskey... coca cola... orange juice... pitu... red bull and raki in my stomach.
Interestingly I found myself puking the day after I had drunk all that stuff
Though, I suddenly felt much better

How old are you guys??? For me, if I have a stomach ache, its solved after a trip to the loo

Did the doctor actually tell you what is going on or is he/she (no sexism) just trying to find out what is going on by trial and error?
Then it might be wiser to see another doctor or specialist.
Personally I had probs with me stomach from age 13 till 27.
At age 27 I also could not hold solid food for like 2 weeks and woke up several times each night from stomach ache.
I visited my doctor - 1st time I ever consulted him on that, I had another doctor before him - and he listened to me and said: "Well this is most likely a bacteria, I am gonna spare you the examination and give you the medicine to fix it right away"
In two days my life changed from hell to pleasant and my stomach has never been problematic since then.
Oh yeah that bacteria: Heliobacter Pylori, just google it....
Have to warn you there are a lot more inflictions that can cause your symptoms.
Good luck, sueil

No I have a confirmed diagnosis. Did a whole battery of tests to figure it out. I've been seeing a specialist. Just not sure what the fuck this whole can't swallow thing is, that is new. Waiting for my doctors office to call me back to see what to do about it.

Are you aware how often doctors misdiagnose people?
Anyway I am curious, is a little part of the stomach stuck above the diaphragm and that is causing reflux?

No. It's something called Gastroparesis. The nerves in my stomach were damaged and cause delayed emptying. A normal person it takes 90 minutes to empty their stomach. For me it takes 10 hours. Anyway with the new medicine I have it causes your stomach muscles to contract normally and really helps manage the symptoms. However because of my throat problem I can't take it. It gets stuck in my throat. So now my stomach is acting up again. I know I said I get sick because my stomach can't empty, but I also feel ill when I have had nothing to eat at all like right now. This is normally solved by eating a few saltine crackers or a slice of bread. However, with my swallowing problems, I can't eat anything. So I am pretty miserable today.
