					| |
					| my old provider contract is running out in a few weeks and my good old w910i is pretty banged up right now, so...time for new shit!
what i'm looking for: excellent mp3 player sound quality and music library navigation, nice design, slider/clamshell, rather small in size, overall good build quality, gps

things i couldn't care less about: touchscreen, shiny/piano black finish, camera, qwerty keyboard, any extra functions no one needs anyway

budget: don't really care as long as it's worth it

 the candidates so far:
sony ericsson w995 - more or less the successor to my old one. seems perfect, but nothing fresh
LG new chocolate BL20 - uuuuuuuuh shiny. red led stuff. me want. don't know about the functionality though
iphone 3gs 16gb - haven't got a girlfriend right now, so why not get something that looks nice, reacts to my manly touch and even speaks to me

					| meh , still got my w810 from 2006 , why spend hundreds of bucks on something i do not need ?
face it , most of you suckers only buy it cause it's new and cool and shit , not because you need 32GB (?!) of space on you fucking cell phone , wi-fi and god knows what else..
i'm guessing most of you suckers use the same basic shit like any 5 year old phone , you only use 3G , Wi-Fi , assvibration only because you have it and paid for it ..
oh , and not to mention that battery life is shit on iphones .
but if i would buy a tocuhscreen phone it would probably be xperiax2

 QFT
Its amazing what you can do with it, and so many amazing applications.. I really love it.. Not to mention its very small compared to phones in its competition..
People who bash mac / iphone are usually morons who cant afford one / jealous that they still have a shitty 3+ year old phone OR have never tried one and just like bandwagon riding.

					| Apple makes pretty stylish and good (usually, but not always) stuff -- iPods, iPhones etc. The first iPod I bought was bricked / DOA, though. Second still works decently.
What's so special about Macs, though? Pay more money for a weaker Intel computer? Yeah, I'll go right ahead and do that! Oh, and I get to use Windows anyway if I want to play non-Mac OS games? This is perfectly logical!

Enlighten me guys, tell me why I would want to choose a Mac over any other PC. Help me NFOhumpers.

					| If you spend more time trying to get your computer to work and less time doing what you want, it’s time to get a Mac. Because Apple makes both the software and the hardware, everything works together, just as it should. That’s why people who get a Mac love a Mac. And why you will, too.

They are amazing, buying one significantly increased my business productivity. People will say yeah "theyre simple" as if thats a bad thing.. and "why not buy a windows system retard, are you dumb?" blabla.. but to be honest, I have a busy lifestyle and I have no time for blue screen of death, viruses or compatibility issues. Windows can fuck right off
  ..
Not to mention they look absolutely great + the latest iMac is virtually silent when on full load.

					| No, you can actually read in the OS section that I ran a OSx86 for a week and I quite not hated the OS itself at all. I hate the overblown prices on generic hardware and the macfag attitude you demonstrated in your post. Quite a big difference. | |

Thanks for the info. But ... I don't know, I haven't had a BSOD since screwing with system files in Windows XP (which I fully deserved). Haven't had a virus problem since 1997, and I don't really spend any time getting my computer to work. Windows 7 is pretty nice, too.

And I don't like how they are claiming on that advertisement that they make all of their own hardware and software when Mac OS is pretty much modded UNIX, they use Intel / AMD CPUs and nVidia graphics cards.

Honestly, from a price/perfomance/useability standpoint, I have yet to see any justification for getting one.

Here's how I see it right now. Mac has fewer applications / games, less customization, reduced performance (price-to-price) ... the only real pro I can see is the whole security through obscurity.

					| Fuck Mac for recreational use, as a work computer I wouldn't mind it at all and loved it when I worked with digital distribution.
Anyways this was about phones and I have a shitty old N73 but I wouldn't mind one of the new HTC ..is it magic?

8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!
