Second one is better then the first one. The levels are more creaetive and some of them much harder. The only thing the first one has over the second is the Flight mode, it just seems more fun to land on those pyramids. Both games are amazing, definitelly in top 10 on gamecube.

I agree. I bought them both and the second is better than the first. Multi is great fun with 4 people. |

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

You mean Monkey Target? Could you please explain what's different in this mode in the second game? Are there no pyramids? Only flat targets?

Yeah. I have not played that game in a while but from what I remember SMB2 has flat landing zones only ( i think that screen Nailbiter poseted is from the second one). Personally I much reather try for the top of the pyramid. But, in the second one you can fly with 2 or even 4 monkeys at once. You can change formations (fly next to eachother or in line), you can pick up banannas and other items (brakes, super brakes etc) as usual but it each counts ony for the monkey that picked it up. So its still lots'a fun, but I enjoyed the first monkey flight a lot more. Everything else about SMB2 is bettere imo.
Im wondering how well this new SMB Deluxe will translate to XBOX and PS2.
I think that the joystick on GC is supperior to those on PS2 and XBOX. I mean the joystic part only, not the buttons. Its much more precise and sensitve. Especially when it doesnt have too much miles on it. And than there is a question of graphics. There is something special about GC. But I still welcome this edition, I dont mind adding 40+ levels to my colection.
btw. Have all of the mini-games from 1 and 2 been inculded in deluxe? If not which ones have made it?

Wow, I don't think the GameCube has an exlusive title left. They lost RE now this. The only thing left are the ones that Nintedo owns.
