it's not recommend to buy from OnlineKeyStore
that's probably one of the reason some guys here that bought from them
has been got their game deactivated

Spoiler: | Quote: | Disapproved Alternatives for Steam
*
EA Store (DRM and regional locked games, regional shops that differ greatly from each other in many cases)
*
Amazon (DRM games and regional shops that differ greatly from each other in many cases)
*
CDkey-Game.com (no SSL) – do not buy from them, they offer Steam gifts, then chargeback the money on PayPal and you’re left with either disabled game on your list or disabled account.
*
OnlineKeyStore – after many complaints we removed this from the approved list – they’ve been selling weird FEAR 2 keys which couldn’t be registered on Steam but worked online with pirated copies of the game |

I bought cd key from onlinekeystore for 120PLN. Price in Poland is the same as in onlinekeystore. But I've seen MW2 for 90PLN(22 euros) in Olsztyn Media Markt. |
Hmm, my moms in Warszawa and said that some clerk guy told her it was for 65PLN in another store since they were out of stock in that one (however I find that weird).
I'll see tomorrow what she can pick up for me.

65 PLN? Must've been the first MW, not the sequel.

Yeah, probably...however she was sure the clerk was looking for MW2 since she wrote it down and stuff.

Hmm, i think you can trust Onlinekeystore. There keys really sold like crazy. Three times a day out of stock and every three time they restocked. If it are illegal keys, many people are screwed then.

The thing is I want to play something online and so far BC2 seems to be only interesting game which is coming in near future but it is still too far away to sit and wait without playing any fps online.

What problems would those be? It seems that only people who didn't buy complain how people who bought the game experience problems. Game seems to have large and steady player base for a week now, so maybe enough with propaganda, fear mongering and all that crap?

Played some MP today finally.
MP much better than SP.
I suck at it, but i like it.
And for some reason, i dont notice the lean missing as much in MP. Maybe because it is more frantic or something? Dunno.

Actually no, people who claim they have bought the game are having problems with their legit copies.
Same as the people who claim to be getting infected with trojans through the game.
Both are ofcourse hear say only, but you never know....

Nope, joined free fall all. No ports opened (UPNP was disabled on router), Eset Firewall was on.

There will always be people who have this or that issue with some game, especially on a complex platform such a PC.

Maybe minor problems, yeah...but unable to connect to games? o.O
Or spreading of a trojan through the game itself?
If the second one is true, and I really hope not, then IWNet really has failed....in epic propotions.

Quote: | That's probably it. I just recently read a thread here with a VALVe moderator saying that keys bought in online keyshops are illegitimate. They may be removing them. He advised to buy DVD retail or from Steam only. |
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1031727&page=2
Seems they are banning all the online retailer keys but its weird they ban a steam one.
