There is lots of things:

Just keep yourself activated (Do things with friends, family).
List all the things about her that annoyed you.
Drink alcohol.
Flirt with someone else and maybe have sex with said person OR Plan B: Masturbate (Will feel like shit afterwards thou).
Play games (FPS is good).

Don't get into the thoughts about "I wonder what she does right now". They are deadly. AND WILL SLOWLY KILL YOU FROM THE INSIDE.

Your life is about you, not her.

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

feel yor ya man, had the same thing going on a few years ago when i went to vienna and my gf was off to rome...well, at least we ended the relationship on amicable terms and the old proverb holds true: out of sight, out of mind. might sound harsh, but the only thing that gets you over this is not keeping contact in any form and fucking around/get a new girl. focus on uni stuff, simply get your mind off this thing.

there is no cure, you always feel shit after a relationship. just get through it and move on, might seem harsh but that's the truth. helps a lot if you go out meeting someone new but most people cant do that right after.. but yeah if you haven't played MW2 i could recommend that to blow some hours off Razz

So true no cure, the only thing that works is time mate, just cart on with your life and time will do the rest...

I used to hit the gym big time when i split up with a girl, endorphines released when training hard give you a natural high and by the time your over her you'll also be looking good Razz

sorry to hear that. Break-ups are always fucked up. As the others said, try to do stuff so you dont have time for brooding. Or sometimes it also helps to really take some time off to be sad about it (put on depressive music, drink some wine, let the emotions flow) so you can get it out of your system on your own terms.

IF she can give you up that easily just because she has to have "university time" then your relationship didn't matter that much to her anyway.
So don't waste time being sad about losing her as she's obviously not worth the time.
I recently suffered a bad divorce, with the works; question of child custody, seperation of monetary wealth, etc.
So I know first hand how evil and seemingly uncaring a woman can be.

Reading these forums, one must wonder why you would ever get married in the first place.

You don't think married people should read these forums?
I don't know what you're implying.

I'm saying, reading these forums gives a person the impression that all women are selfish cunts and marriage is the worst decision you could make in your life.

I think it's more a case of many people reading these forums being socially inept, or have a lot of bad luck Razz
In a way you're right, I don't believe in people being able to live together for a prolonged period of time.

No i'm sure i've posted stuff in the past about marriage! i've been married for 3 years and have a beautifull 11 month old boy :¬) best thing i ever did....

And there are alot of seriously fucked up women out there, it took me till i was in my 30's to find a good girl Razz Ohh and she's 9 years yonger which helps as women don't last as long physically Hahaha...

at the moment divorce happens to about 50% of all marriages. Most divorces happen after 5 to 12 years after the relationship started.

So marriage is basically a coin-toss.

All my long-term relationships lasted about 5 years.

The reasons this happens to alot of people are of biological and psychological nature. And women arent the cold hearted bitches that alot of people make em out to be, they are usually just the first to notice problems in a relationship (or are biologically more prone to have the hormones wear off earlier) and therefore are more likely to break off a relationship than the male partner.

Da internetz was not and has never been a place to back up an opinion. If forums were my deciding factor on life, I would've already shot myself.

If a girl leaves you because she does not have the time, it probably was crap anyway. It's cold, but teh best way to get over a relationship is to think about teh crap it brought you. Don't ponder it, just say fuck it. There are instances when a breakup is inevitable for some reason, even if the love is there. That seems not to be the case here.
