No problems at all with game so far, everything that should be working is at this time, uploading stuff to downloading dlc to enabling it..Epic game..
I took a browse in the bioware forums, lol's. Peoplke in there complaining textures are shit game runs like a dog and all sorts, its typical but also really rediculous as the game looks and plays great if your system is of medium or better standing. (and looked after)
ANYONE that has issues of anygame they pirate though really shouldnt be complaining about ANYTHING. when I pirate games if there are issues so be it, do I know if its because im using a pirate release? No idea most the time I cant be sure, but I sure dont complain like ive just spent money on it.
Alot of people ive seen post in here of late need to get in check and stop whining... So far the main DLC content works here, no idea if the NO DRM is nice or not, maybe there are other things going on they have not spoken of with the DLC and a non registered game?
Who knows, but I can tell you dragon age is working here for me who bought it, yeah at its high price on steam but still I wanted it to work and patched and be flawless for my game time with this release.
If you pirate it expect it to fail and you wont be dissapointed if it dont... And if it does fuck up etc then what is there to moan about? your invested time your invested effort == your doings.. Nobody elses..

No, it only has Shale.
This one has the Keep.

Bioware didn't price it, EA did.
The people who buy Shale are the ones who are getting second hand copies for much cheaper I suppose. Or pirates. Which isn't all bad a move, since hey, EA is still making cash so they won't be bitching about piracy. I don't mind the free DLC that comes with brand new games as I believe it's a nice middle ground for publishers and pirates.

Yeah, OKS is fine. People here bought Riddick from there and I got L4D for some of my friends back then.

SirLoseALot wrote: | Alright, I'm sure this has been answered before, but then again we are at page 115 and I really don't feel like going through all of them (altough I have read through many).
So, I have "demoed" the game for a few hours, and amazingly enough it turns out to be the one single player only game that I'm willing to actually pay for. It's just that good. I assume that installing a legit version involves uninstalling the current one. I do however *not* want to lose my current save games. So, how can I make sure those get transitioned to the new installation? Will copy/paste do, and if so, where are those saves stored? |
Same as me!
I bought it and it works just fine.
Uninstall the cracked version but keep the saves and the settings. And than install the retail (in my case the STEAM).
Works like a charm and you won't lose your progress (and the DLCs and extra itens will work just fine).

Are the DLCs really buggy, then ? Thankfully I haven't started them yet. I think I'm gonna deal with the main quests and a patch will be out at some point.
@ sabin
Which cdkey did you use the install the game ? Was it skidrow's first cdkey in the list ? I'm wondering if it's tied to that as well, and that's what I've chosen.

Still it is almost half the price of the steam digital download, which is a lot better. (if you decide to pay for the game that is)

Both DLC missions have been 100% bug free for me. And I even used a save from the older install (the cracked one). I'm playing they on the retail, so maybe it's a bug with the mix cracked + paid dlc.

I think it's better to put it on the shelf and wait for the GOTY edition, with all DLCs and patches included. | ehhhhh.

Get the nocd and just stay offline? And whenever you need to log in with your profile, just switch back to the original exe?
