No problems at all with game so far, everything that should be working is at this time, uploading stuff to downloading dlc to enabling it..Epic game..

I took a browse in the bioware forums, lol's. Peoplke in there complaining textures are shit game runs like a dog and all sorts, its typical but also really rediculous as the game looks and plays great if your system is of medium or better standing. (and looked after)

ANYONE that has issues of anygame they pirate though really shouldnt be complaining about ANYTHING. when I pirate games if there are issues so be it, do I know if its because im using a pirate release? No idea most the time I cant be sure, but I sure dont complain like ive just spent money on it.

Alot of people ive seen post in here of late need to get in check and stop whining... So far the main DLC content works here, no idea if the NO DRM is nice or not, maybe there are other things going on they have not spoken of with the DLC and a non registered game?

Who knows, but I can tell you dragon age is working here for me who bought it, yeah at its high price on steam but still I wanted it to work and patched and be flawless for my game time with this release.

If you pirate it expect it to fail and you wont be dissapointed if it dont... And if it does fuck up etc then what is there to moan about? your invested time your invested effort == your doings.. Nobody elses..

Very Happy

No, it only has Shale.

This one has the Keep.

So why have bioware priced it 15$ if it comes free with every game?

Bioware didn't price it, EA did.

The people who buy Shale are the ones who are getting second hand copies for much cheaper I suppose. Or pirates. Which isn't all bad a move, since hey, EA is still making cash so they won't be bitching about piracy. I don't mind the free DLC that comes with brand new games as I believe it's a nice middle ground for publishers and pirates.

39hrs down the drain. I'm so fucking glad I didn't waste any more money on this bullshit.

It was nice while it lasted, but meh. Uninstall. I've got other games to play.

Oh and deleting the AddIns.xml removed the DLC completely, now it says I have to pay again to get it back. Fuck this, definitely uninstalled now.

Your main game works fine as I understand? Consider the $7 paid for the DLC payback you damn pirate Razz

This game is indeed epic, easily the best RPG I've played (though PS:T will always be the best in story). It has the "OMG I'm still in the beginning!?" feeling, it has the "Damn one more hour" feeling and it has brilliant combat imo.

How about he game itself? Do you have to keep using the cracked version or can you get some legal digital download version or something? I mean, you get a legal code, but the game will still do a dvd check if you don't crack it, right?

Edit: Nevermind, I took a leap of faith and just bought Dragon Age at OKS. Got my key immediately and registered it in the EA Download Manager, which gave me access to the digital download. So far everything works fine Smile

Alright, I'm sure this has been answered before, but then again we are at page 115 and I really don't feel like going through all of them (altough I have read through many).

So, I have "demoed" the game for a few hours, and amazingly enough it turns out to be the one single player only game that I'm willing to actually pay for. It's just that good. I assume that installing a legit version involves uninstalling the current one. I do however *not* want to lose my current save games. So, how can I make sure those get transitioned to the new installation? Will copy/paste do, and if so, where are those saves stored?

Same as me!

I bought it and it works just fine.
Uninstall the cracked version but keep the saves and the settings. And than install the retail (in my case the STEAM).

Works like a charm and you won't lose your progress (and the DLCs and extra itens will work just fine).

This one has all the DLC save for the promo items which you can just get and use no problem.

Are the DLCs really buggy, then ? Thankfully I haven't started them yet. I think I'm gonna deal with the main quests and a patch will be out at some point.

@ sabin
Which cdkey did you use the install the game ? Was it skidrow's first cdkey in the list ? I'm wondering if it's tied to that as well, and that's what I've chosen.

Still it is almost half the price of the steam digital download, which is a lot better. (if you decide to pay for the game that is)

Both DLC missions have been 100% bug free for me. And I even used a save from the older install (the cracked one). I'm playing they on the retail, so maybe it's a bug with the mix cracked + paid dlc.

Hey guys! I have a request (Though not an illegal one). I'm the owner of a perfectly legal copy of Dragon Age, and I'm searching for a working mini image so I won't have to use the disc when I want to play the game. Now, normally as the filthy pirate scum that i am Very Happy I would just use a Nocd but as this game is attached to my profile (and my dlc) on Biowares social site, I'm not comfortable with using a hacked file.

I have already tried the image from Gcw but it wont work with demon tools (only poweriso will do), so if you of an alternative that works with D-Tools then please tell me.
Thx in advance Smile

This game is really fun, but it would have been better if there was better loot to be found.
I always like to play these kind of games and finding nice armour and weapons, but not with this game.

Now it's just looting without checking the items.
