Why movie-makers keep doing that accent crap again and again boggles the mind. Scratch Head

The orphan. 7/10.

Besides the cheap cheap cheap and easily predictable "scares" the movies actors where pretty good, especially the girl playing esther and only they were able to save this movie from being predictable shit Smile

I really cant emphasize enough how cheap and incredibly predictable the scares were...

harry pottah... the latest one... 6/10. was entertaining enough, but it was a 2 and a half hour FILLER movie, to link the last movie to the next one. no action, nothing stood out as really plot developing... its like one of those tv episodes that come out that consists of 3 minutes of new footage and 20 worth of repeated footage from previous eps, because everyone who makes the show was too busy snorting drugs and nailing hookers to come in for work that week.... so the janitor had to put something together..

but yeah... nothing special, the 'romance' shit was tacky and horribly boring, i can only hope they've gotten that shit out of the way so that the next 2 films focus more on ripping shit up, magic style, rather than harry obsessing over going out on a fucking date.. *yaaaawnnn*

anyway surrogates 7/10. not much action, but as a thriller i still enjoyed it. bruce did a major ASSHOLE thing in the end which kinda pissed me off, but otherwise it was pretty good. not 1080p good, but still an enjoyable watch.

The ending was pretty stupid though, must have been pretty painful de-evolving to a baby again.

Eden Lake 8/10 , pissed me off like hell , i'd beat the shit out of those kids
but fuck , was the movie good , great performances and shit , like i said , it pissed me off that the guy was such a wuss , but still , still very very real .
the ending was the shocker for me , i thought now they're gonna get it , but this wasnt a revenge movie , it really showed how far parents can go to protect they're children.

Just watched Mary and Max by Adam Elliot. Very good claymation flick, if anyone has seen Harvey Krumpet and liked it they should definetly watch this one. It's a very touching story about a girl named Mary Daisy Dinkle and Max Jerry Horovitz. They become penpals when Mary randomly runs through the New York phonebook and finds Max's name.

I'd give this movie 8.5/10

i'm still really dissapointed Fincher made that movie , after the utter brilliance that is Zodiac he went the commercial route and made this , sure it's not bad , but it's really pale compared even to The Game.

anyway , Moon 8/10 , maybe a 7.5 , it could have been done better tho , but it's still original with top notch acting .
