The movie is supposed to be a over-the-top horror comedy... You having fun while watching it was Raimi's intention.

Horror is pretty much comedy no matter how you look at it. With very rare few exceptions. So Raimi making it even more obvious is just a good thing imo.

Drag me to Hell - 8/10 - Man, Raime finally redeemed himself after all those shitty spiderman films. Drag me to hell feels like Evil Dead in the 21st century and dammit it feels good

Sleep Dealer (2008) [1080p] - 5 / 10

gastarbeiters doing work via virtual factories without leaving their country , evil corporations, memory sharing... overall nothing special

---

In Bruges (2008) [1080p] - 9 / 10

Great acting, cute accents, black humor, then suddenly movie turns very brutal, gory and sad Sad
EDIT: Almost forgot, In Bruges has a really magnificent soundtrack too Smile

Transformers.Revenge.of.the.Fallen.2009.720p.BluRay.DTS.x264-Prestige - 6/10 - lame story, lame humour, too long and generally just meh.

Dead.Mans.Shoes.2004.720p.BluRay.x264-CiNEFiLE - 7.5/10 - pretty decent revenge flick from the same director as 'This is England'

Can't wait to see it again tonight Very Happy

I think I gave the theater version either a 9 or a 10. Damn this movie was so effing good. The humor is a little lame but everything else was fantastic!

Lol I wouldn't mind watching it 3 times if I had to. I think I saw the first Transformers movie at least 5 or 6 times. It was equally enjoyable every single time. Dang I love these Tranformers movies a little too much Very Happy

MASH.1970.720p.BluRay.DTS.x264-DON - 7/10 - watched the tv show a bit but never the movie... acting was much better in this version
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066026/

The.Brothers.Bloom.2009.720p.Bluray.x264-CBGB - 8/10 - pretty good con-men movie, second film from the director of 'Brick'
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0844286/

The.Thaw.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-thugline - 4/10 - horror type movie about global warming melting ice in the arctic and unleashing a prehistoric parasite, pretty crap though... guess Val Kilmer isn't getting much work these days...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1235448/

lol, I've been on the couch watching movies for about 10 hours now Razz

Inglourious Basterds- HOLY SHIT/10

One of the best movies of the last decade, it automatically jumps to my TOP 10 movies EVER.

I wonder if this movie becomes the younger generation's "Pulp Fiction". It definitely should.

The guy playing Hans Landa should get a billion Oscars.

OK, let me rephrase my statement that the Christoph Waltz should get an Oscar.

Transformers 2 - 6.5/10

Cliché? Sure. Laughable plot? Yup, more or less. Predictable? Most definately.

But did I enjoy watching it? I have to admit i did. Then again, i LOVE great visuals and sound (even though this rips sound didn't really come out perfectly, atleast not on my 5.1 system? I watched the Prestige 720p rip. The sound mix was somewhat awkward at times). I'll probably watch it again sometime, but not as soon as when Transformers 1 came out, that one I really liked. Even if it's damn stupid, I enjoy seeing them. And I'm sure the audio/visual experience helps a shitload. 'Cause if i would've been forced to watch this on my 42" LCD, i don't think i'd like it as much.

So what do you watch it on since 42" is laughably small by your opinion? ;D
