Let's say we have two graphic cards, they're the same but from different manufacturer.
One is VTX Radeon HD4850 512MB, and the other is XFX Radeon HD4850 512MB.

Only thing I see is that XFX has cooler look Very Happy

So the difference is?

XFX are a better known brand, with higher production and build qualities.

also never heard of vtx, but aside from maybe a shitty rma i seriously doubt that even the most stupid gfx cards manufacturer would fail at mounting a custom heatsink Laughing

the gfx cards are identical, just google for cooler efficiency/db level

the differences are usually limited to fan and memory quality
some memories clock better than others
also, the other card has vga-out for secondary output, which is a bit silly

You see no difference?
The cooling solution is clearly different and probably better or at least more silent on the VTX card.
Though i can not vouch for that cooler having never used one.

I don't get why would that kind of cooling be better (silent yes, probably) that that of XFX?
It seems (to me) that XFX has better cooling solution...
