Just rewatching sunshine. Last time I watched it was the first cam release so I gave it a try with HD
And I have to say that this movie is really IMPRESSIVE! Everything seems so real and believable! The fx, the computers, the displays, the technology and everything else. Incredible movie.

Are you serious? Wow... | Right in front of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Batman Begins, Jaws, No Country for Old Men, Blade Runner, Gladiator, The Wizard of Oz, The Terminator.. that's what you get when people vote, George Bush and Star Trek.

ExCePt the last third or so of the movie, amirite? |
Actually no. Everything fitted perfectly the style of the movie. Sure the movie itself changes a little bit when pinbaker appeared but that feels more like a psychological force and I liked it very much

... don't forget Gina "lost to the first real challenge (Cyborg)" Carrano.
Blood and Bone - 3/10
Predictable B-movie with horrible dialogue, bad acting, and "flashy" fight-scenes. Pretty much like most crap "fight-movies". The cheesy subplot makes it all worse.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

LoL. The cheesy is what i found funny.
Guess it just depends on what you're expecting.
As long as it has some decent "flashy" fight scenes, I am pretty happy with a fight flick.
Yeah... Gina "lost the first real challenge but would still kick Dominae's ass" . . . I forgot to mention her thus why I said "and others".

That's not really the point now, is it. Just because you got the hots for the chick don't mean she's a good fighter. She looked like she didn't belong in the ring with Cyborg. Getting out-classed like that shows that there are great gaps of talent in the female MMA.
The movie was terribad, and you know it. You want to see a good fight movie, watch ONG BAK 1 & 2.

I already saw those and they were 9.5's out of 10.
hey, she'd kick my ass too... i'd let her mount me!
But yeah she got killed by Cyborg. About how i thought it would go. But that's another topic I guess.

Well, I finally bit the bullet and watched it with my GF tonight. She enjoyed it and well, I was pleasantly surprised at most. Pleasantly surprised yet still 7/10? WTF Kaeye you ask?
Well, It gets this high mark for the following things : Acting, cinematography, atmosphere and Maggie Gylenhaal's sweet self.
The batman and superhero stuff was still kinda lame as was the first film, but this film was more adult and had more of a believable story so I enjoyed it more. Heath ledger played the joker very eerily, but wasnt the best part imo.
Id say worth a watch if you have a reason to do so, but in all honest I probably wont watch it again. |

7/10 ... pretty decent french action flick ... same director as some of the splinter cell games (and L'ennemi intime which was pretty good as well).

Inglourious Basterds -9/10
For me a typical Tarantino. I enjoyed it, altho it was a loooong movie. Love the dialogues, and the funny scenes.

Until that incredibly atrocious third act! What the hell were they thinking?? Could have been a classic |
I liked the third act too, but it was just way too fast paced.

You probably spend 10 hours a day browsing through old posts in the forum just looking for a opportunity to flame someone, am I right or am I right?

Nope, I have a good memory for stuff like that. I just looked up "batman" with the user "wgem", showed it as "posts" and made it show "all available characters".
Try it, it's a great tool catching people in the lie. For instance, try searching "transformers" under "Ronhrin".
