question: in the faq it says to do the loader thing right away... so I didn't read that 25 days ago :/
so I just tried 7loader 1.5 ... it says it is installed, but didn't change the activation.
so am I fucked and need to re-install?

can you rephrase that like I'm an idiot? ie I'm not quite clear what this option is, nor who my "vendor" is since my computer is unbranded...

The motherboard's brand/vendor. But that won't work if the motherboard doesn't have SLIC2.1 with the proper data in it (can be modded by using modified BIOS ROM).
Nouse, just to make sure, you installed with UAC disabled, yes?

Yep, but be careful not to brick the BIOS.

so I probably should be using just A8N-SLI not premium or deluxe then I imagine. well fuck, that isn't on any site I can find.
so, what happens after activation expires? should I just go back to vista for now? can I re-install win7 and get another month? will the same thing apply when the retail copy comes out?

You can do this 4 times to extend your grace period up to 120 days:
Do this only when you are on your last day to maximize the grace period.

Will void your warranty though, unless you could re-flash to the original BIOS before RMA'ing.

I've decided to just do a full re-install when my 10k drive comes.. Then I'll have 3 drives for storage and 2 IDE drives to crap..
Guessing sticking the OS on a 10k drive will help speed things up a bit.. plus the IDE drives are oooold.

I'm blown away. I would have never believed that it actually feels a lot faster! Maybe newer programs are more adjusted for Vista/win7, but the overall funcionality still feels really smooth.

You are just another MS lackey promoting Windows 7 here. No way in hell that Windows 7 will be faster than Windows XP on the same hardware.

It's free so why not just get ulitmate and have it all?

I would say you don't need anything more than Home Premium but as you said, Ultimate is free, so go for the gold.

I just installed windows 7 pro RTM 64bit a couple days ago. Been noticing that I've been getting alota network problems ever since. When I am browsing the internet, some pages would just fail to load, and i'd have to keep hitting refresh and it would load. Also some sites are loading very slow for some reason. Never had these problems when I was using Vista 64 bit. Anyone else have these network related problem with windows 7?

If you guys recommend that, I will change the FAQ with this one. Indeed, I have had problems with the HAZAR loader too. Cheers for the info!

If you actually read feedback for each loader you'll see that people had issues with ever single one of them.

I used Hazar's loader 1.5 and it worked just fine, no problem whatsoever. Worst thing that could happen is that you have to try another loader right?

Yep. Or, if a key gets blacklisted, you will apply the latest version of a loader that will use another key.
