i still use if for old games , well all old Win3.11/95/98/dos games don't work on winxp (time frame from 92-2002) because they use 16-bit drivers ... even dosbox can't run all DOS games so ... yeah i still use win95 on my amdx2 6000+ with boot screen so i can select it or winxp for dx9c or Vista for dx10 or Linux Os

really don't see why it's so funny people stick to an operating system they enjoy are comfortable and like? I'm still on XP Pro (ill try windows 7 eventually). If their not playing games or building huge rigs like most of us here do than so what?
Though I must say..this comment..wow

Yep, my 98SE system is stable and I don't see many BSODs these days thanks to the support from MSFN!
Besides, even XP is sluggish on my dual PIII, and on the same box, 98SE runs better with just one CPU. |
durp!

No, the problem is using a very very awful 9x kernel. You will never hear me say anything about someone using Windows 2000, for example, because it's a good kernel (as good as XP). But come on, you really going to defend the 9x kernel and its use? I mean some of them, are just... "wow" like you put it, arguing it is the most secure kernel MS ever made!

Yes, only some of them use win98, but they're rare cases.

Every office I've ever seen either uses Win2k, WinXP or - in the case of my local council back in the UK, Windows Vista.
