I'd love to see Terra Nova in a fresh suit. Brilliant game that didn't get much attention. :/

Terra Nova was freaking awesome. I still have the disk stored away.

Wow, a lot of awesome games being mentioned here. I agree especially about Dungeon Keeper, Outcast and Elite.

Another gem that that really deserves a sequel/remake, which I guess few people have heard about, is Stronghold (and no, it isn't the 2000 something castle building one). It's basically some strange mix between AD&D, Majesty and a side-scroller. It's way ahead of it's time gameplay wise and pretty fun to play even today with dosbox or something. The quirky sideview and the controls might need some getting used to though. Man that game ran hot on our first PC back in the 90's.

Well, they WERE making another sequel (not the first one which eventuelly ended up as Hired Guns which really is a cowpoop, unfortunatelly) based on the Silent Storm engine (it's dated by today's standards, but it's a good choice for JA3 nevertheless) and there were some in-game videos on the Youtube but I never heard anything since.

I like your choices. +10 000

IMHO, WC might be nice if done online, too, where you would fight Kilrathi (or even better - let's make it an WC Privateer online) in an online world. It would be great that if you get killed, your characther would die permanently (so you would have to start all over again). Then you would really be careful about how you play and the number of kills would really stand for something and instill fear into your opponents. It would be harder to make the players influence the progress of the war in a fun and not so rinse-and-repeating way, though.

I can only dram about another SC. But this can only go into the "if I was as rich as Roman Abramovich" domain Wink Maybe I would cut down the number of meters on that yacht of his and invest the difference into some studious to make me remakes of my favourite games (WC Privateer, SC, Syndicate, UFO, Tie Fighter, System Shock (not the sequel), Jagged Alliance, F-14 Fleet Defender, ... ). SC remake would cost the most because it would have to be a realistic sim this time, but again with a good storyline, of course (I would prefer cinematics to be drawn again or computer generated; FMVs with real actors look tacky and out of place most of the times because of the low production values). It would have to have at least 20 realisticly simulated jets that you could buy over time. And YF-23 would shoot down the YF-22 this time, of course Smile
