well, yeah, the freezer is risky, but i don't usually do that, especially if i smoke.
my problem is forgetting the beer outside overnight, so it goes a bit off by the next day. i still drink it, of course, but it's kinda lame.
thinking about getting a bottle of tequila for tonite + zee wochenende, as the french would say (if talking about strong 'alchool' is appropriate in this thread)

Cream Stout - magnificent, muych more softer, less raw edges than bowman stout. SAme black coffee + black bread but there is a a trace of blackberry in after taste. yummy

garus, try drinking an Ale - they are different but most share the common ground - honey and spices.
And be careful with Porters, especially that have some sweetness in their names - as you hate bitter beer, they might kill you  For example, the one in my pic - imagine eating a table spoon of honey, sweetness at its finesse, and suddenly an after wave of absinthe like bitterness strikes - very special taste
