|
 |
coming from hard drives
recently got two 500gb sata2 hd's [maxtor and hitachi ]and they make this, don't even know how to explain periodical wave noise which is iriitating the hell out of me, u can actually feel the vibration on the case
my 2 old sammys 500gb sata2 quite and noiseless
drives tested fine and work perfect, it's just the noise that is really annoying
anyway to get rid of it, apart from buying some noise canceling solutions?

well i had the same with a 80 gig a 160 gig and all my disk.... its the vibration your disk moves in your PC case, to solve it just add rubber to the screws holding your hdd or screw them more tightly

drives function perfectly, they are screwed in and yes they make same noise outside the case even tho it's not as noticeable
drives are brand new, have been checked with several apps and appear to be in top notch condition
