|
 |
So yeah, i'm out after a new cellphone since my current Nokia n76 somehow got snapped into two pieces.
I'm looking at blackberry phones at the moment however i'm not really sure about them so if anybody has or had one of those phones, please tell me about em.
the model im looking at is blackberry 8900, i'm pretty much up for buying the phone considering that there are no 12 month or 24 month plans on blackberry phones here in Sweden, not that i've seen at least.
So yeah, if you guys could give me your input on blackberry and maybe even give me some advice about other models similar to the blackberry style of cellphones...
thanks.

Whats wrong with my half assed reply? lol. The palm pre is meant to be a good phone and personally i think Nokia's are the best.

I'd go with Palm Pre, or any option that doesn't throw more money Apple's way.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

Touch Diamond 2 is very nice, and you have the support of the A community for a long long time.

Go with an Android phone tbh. Got an HTC Magic myself, and it's great, much better than an iPhone.

Hmm alright, well just to clarify one thing that I forgot to tell. I'd like to avoid touchscreen phones since I already got an ipod touch and well i don't really want my phone to use touchscreen.
but thanks for the tips so far, please recommend more models.

iphone only if you are a design fag (in fact i have 3g s here with me just to compare with my n97). but its functionality is quite limited. and dont know about you there, but here you are forced to signup with some monthly packets in order to buy iphone.
HTC Touch HD is quite a nice phone. i was thinking to buy it instead of n97, but i went with my conservative instincts aka nokia is well proven itself.

not shitty. iphone's gui is very user friendly actually.
but it is overpriced, but so are all niche products (including other apple products).
also it doesnt have all the features other competitors offer.

Only good side of iPhone is that it's UI is very user friendly. And that's about it.
It's the most over-hyped phone ever.

I guess nobody can be actually bothered to read the thread, you know, the part where he said he didn't want a touch screen?

Yeah, been looking around a bit and well while the n76 has a qwerty keyboard and touch screen I'm still not very impressed. the HTC one is too expensive for me..
I think it's safe to say that I'm biased towards blackberry cellphones at the moment... however the problem which I am having is that there are no 12month or 24month plans available in Sweden that I've been able to find. It looks like you have to buy it off directly which is something that i was hoping to avoid because of my income at the moment.
So yeah, keep recommending phones and seeing that i'm very interested in blackberry type of phones i'd appreciate if you could throw in some PDA/ smart phone models.
Also I got a question for anyone who has any experience of the latest models of blackberry phones.. Which one is the best at the moment the blackberry 9000 (bold) or the blackberry 8900 curve?
Really appreciate the help so far.
Thanks.

Hmm, the curve costs 375 euros here in Sweden which is almost a hundred euros cheaper then your curve in Canada... however the bold model is a bit cheaper in Canada. looks like i got a killer deal for the curve model however what sucks is that i have to pay it directly which i want too avoid. After doing some research it's safe too say that they're both good but that the difference lies for example in size..
But yeah, gonna keep scouting...
