Need some recommendations of "political" films like "13 Days", "JFK", "Dr Strangelove" or "Fail Safe (2000)" for example.
Is there anything out there that could beat the above?

Just dled "Wag the Dog" not sure if it's any good, but anyho. I think you get the sort of feel for the films I am looking for here.

Cheers guys.

Some more-or-less-political ones, as the definition can be different for who you ask:

Nixon
Frost/Nixon
Truman
Malcolm X
Gandhi
All The King's Men (not remake)
The Candidate
Network
The Good Shepherd
The Last King of Scotland
Hotel Rwanda
Charlie Wilson's War
Traffic
Das Leben der Anderen
Good Night and Good Luck
Syriana
Thank You For Smoking
The Great Dictator

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards
Bravery is not a function of firepower.

Brilliant list Parallax, cheers!.
I think I will start with "Frost/Nixon" as I gave it a miss when it came out for some reason.

'the great dictator' is even greater when you know that this was made before the war, and chaplin was greatly criticised for it
