So... I've a strange problem with my 2x Nvidia 8800 GT-512.

If I have them both connected, and connect the cards with sli bridge, I get a really strange screen flickering, which is almost epileptic Razz

If I take the bridge away, flicker disappears, but there's extremely noticeable fps drop (no way of playing FallOut3 with ultra settings 1920x1200, where as I played on those setting with just a single gpu (turning off anti-aliasing and fsaa) Also, adding the 2nd gpu introduced really strange stuttering problems. Such as, I turn around in FO3 and everything freezes briefly (like for... 0.5 seconds).

I've googled quite a bit of this problem and only suggestions were to remove the bridge, or use some really old drivers... 17x.xx (which supposedly causes a huge performance degradation due to AFR algorithm is missing)

Anyone else with same problem?

EDIT:

Also I'm having really big FPS issues in WoW. I'm having barely 20 fps in open landscape. (maxed settings, tried with shadows at max or shadows at 0), In dungeons it's fine, mostly 60 fps.

Ok, I'll write a bit more of the problem...

So... the flickering disappears when removing the bridge.... BUT the performance goes actually worse than while using single GPU. Even though, I get more points in pcmark Vantage with sli mode...
6k with single gpu, 11k with sli.

And the fps in wow is really awful with the sli... In windowed mode I'm getting like 6-15 fps. (Especially turning on the shadows causes it to go crazy.)

By tweaking a lot, when using single gpu, I managed to get like 120 fps in gpu easy areas. But with dual I'm stuck to quite low fps. It's driving me crazy... I wonder if I should just sack the cards and get some gx275 or something ( though someone mentioned that I should wait until the end of year as there will be 3xx series out, which should drop the price of the 2xx series.)
