i said i installed the RTM . i know it isn't retail. just as ppl say this works fine ..that works fine , i've shared my personal experience with the RTM.

yeah you did, but it felt like you were bashing it a little bit for no obvious reason since most 3rd party software isn´t fully windows 7 rdy. i use windows since 3.0 and from my personal expierience this is the best os i have ever used.

I recently went from build 7000 x64 to build 7068 x64, although I had no problems with 7000, 7068 seems a lot smoother. No issues when upgrading; mounted, autoran, upgrade, reboot, finalize setup, reboot, logon and go.
I had the same issues as pretty much everyone with the recent CCC installer, so I put 9.4's on with the device manager, and downloaded CCC seperately and installed.
The 9.4's are great. I got STALKER - C.S. running with all the same mods I had from the install on Vista, and my performance has literally doubled, enough so to use 2x MSAA and 10.1 Alpha-tested without much of a hit.
CoreTemp and ATT still work for me.
I use Avast! anti-virus and it has had no problems with 7 at all.
X-Fi drivers seem to be fine as well.
Anyway, I can't wait to get a retail copy of 7 whenever it goes gold.
P.S. GTA IV performance is great on 7 for me too!

I do play other games aswell. And only times i've seen such differences is when i've changed hardware.

This is the error i have while installing the spanish RTM for W7 64bit as Home Premium..Happens when "Installing Components" part happens...some people says the same with some of their Windows Vista 64bit also!

Noob question: How do i disable the window preview from the taskbar?..i mean,i point the mouse to one of the taskbar (SMALL by preference) icons and it shows the window's preview..how can i disable it and make a textual list XP Style?

Well i also searched for ALT+TAB Preview Disable (wich worked for Vista) but now i dont seem to find it...help the noob again,please?^^;;;;

Why not just disable AERO and be done with it? I mean, I know why you do it ("that preview takes 2MB in my memory!!!") but it's getting ridiculous. If you hate it so much, just disable AERO and enjoy your uglier XP (Vista and 7 really look awful without AERO).

There's a register code that lets you keep Aero on but havin XP Styled Alt Tab icons

Does it work? Does it replace RTM files with Beta/RC files or uses another method?

What other method is there? Until SLIC is leaked, there is no other way. Unless someone makes a TimerStop crack, but I doubt anyone will bother. |

Loader is already out, just needs OEM key to work.

Well u'll still need a oem key. but at least now you have loader which emulates slic 2.1 + certificate
when keys are leaked you'll only have to open cmd and write slmgr -ipk XXXX-xxxx.... and windows is done |
