Those scenes which set marks in film that will probably never be beaten. Perfect dialogue, perfect buildup, perfect execution both in acting and script/cinematography.

My example to get the ball rolling.

*Spoiler warning for people who havent seen Se7en*

the blues brothers chase scenes - especially the shopping mall one
hospital scene in hard boiled

why can't we have ridiculous action films like these anymore?
it's all matrix ripoffs, films attempting to take themselves seriously while being silly or just being a cartoon

lol , i don't mind shitty cgi and shit as long as i buy the story and characters the rest isnt that important , sure good direction and cinematography would also mean alot but that's just the essence of a good movie, but like i said that's just me..

some more great scenes

well , check out the workprint for more stuff like that
but overall , the best cut or at least my personal favorite is the theatrical cut including the base explosion during the credits

iNatan and Mutantius pretty much covered all my instant choices.

Here's some more

Oldboy (the last 30 minutes!)

Taegukgi (final scene at the 38th parallel, one of the most emotional war scene of all time!)

Letters From Iwo Jima (Suicide Scene)

Return of the King (Gollum takes the ring)

V for Vendetta (Broadcast Scene)

Children of Men (Baby Scene)

Most scenes from Der Untergang are epic in their own right but I won't post the whole movie here!

Anyway, that's all I can remember now, each one of the previous movies should be watched by everyone!

Look at Travoltas body language at the restuarant scene. Every move is brilliant and really fits his character. Pure classic stuff.
