As the title says. When I try to start PS CS4 64bit I get this

All other Adobe apps works perfectly, including PS CS4 (32 bit).

Been searching the net for a fix but so far nothing. I need the 64Bit version to save some load screens for ETW as .dds, the "standard" version of PS CS4 can't do that.

Could it have something to do with Windows7 ?.

Cheers guys

Cheers man. Got a standalone version of PS CS4, and it all works now. Must have been the ghost in the machine or something Wink.

Just a small but idiotic addendum.
The .dds plug in from Nvidia of course runs ONLY in 32 bit!!!!! (correct me if I am wrong here). I was stupid and forgot that. Anyhow, the 64bit version of PSCS4 did not start up as stated in the above posts, so the thread was not totally pointless.

We have learned that the "0x000007b" (in this case) error was fixed with a reinstall...well, there it is folks .
