I think the game's pretty damn awesome,thou having only 12 characters and costing ~60$ the Limited Edition or Normal seems costy and might keep away people who are fans of this kind of fighting...There's only DVD/BluRay EDITION,NO PSN/LIVE DOWNLOAD!!

Saw someone playing this a few days ago, the dialogue was pretty hilarious. There's a lesbo cat in it.
The game itself looked pretty cool and fun, really stupid there won't be a PAL release.

I finally played this today and its really good. Not many characters to choose from but the gameplay is pretty solid. Button mashing doesn't work here and IMO it feels like one of those old school SNES fighting games (which I like). And the 2d visuals are freakin gorgeous. Its much better than Street Fighter IV (gameplay and visuals).

apparantly Europeon version also includes extra characters and some other stuff not included in the original release.
I was this close to buying the 4 disk limited edition yesterday for £65 from a local store... glad I didn't now as i'll wait for the Europe release for all the extras.

BlazBlue is a new experience in 2D weapons based fighting making exceptional
use of the Hi Res power behind the Next Gen consoles. The game is created
by Arc System Works (Japanese developers of the Guilty Gear franchise).
The 3D one-on-one fighting stages and 2D Goth-Anime characters are pure
over-the-top Japanese. Fighters seamlessly combo from standard attacks into
specials using the four-button control scheme (weak, medium and strong
attacks). Every character also has a unique special attack called a
Distortion Drive.
