I've seen many horror movies in my life and played loads of horror survival games, so I'm not scared easily... but this demo had me jump up and down in my chair a few times, congratulations to the makers of this game.
i played like 15 mins when it first came out and got so scared like never before from a game/movie. that night i even had nightmares. haven't touched it since, too afraid
I went through the demo 3 times already , every fuckin time was creepy and scary...scariest game I ever played...atmosphere is so good , very nicely paced , just perfect. I really really hope that full game delivers , true horror experience.
Over at Screenburn someone's translated the mysterious message that plays for a while on the radio. It's in Swedish and this what it says:
Close your eyes.
Let your ears listen, to the radio.
Do you hear my voice?
Can you hear your own soul's scream?
Let us choose
My voice that tells the future
Or your tortured (inaudible)
Well, what do you choose?
You can choose.
Your life, your future.
Wise as you are you might already have discovered it.
Yes, the radio drama from 75 years ago was true.
They are here on our earth and they monitor and see all.
Don't trust anyone. Don't trust the police.
They are already controlled by them.
That's the way it has been for 75 years now.
Only our best (inaudible)
You have a right. A right to become one of us.
So, welcome to our world. Very soon the gates to a new dimension will open.

Finally managed to finish this , this game or demo or whatever it is .. is STUNNING !! the atmosphere , setting , sound , gfx..everything is just unbelievable. Shits all over current horror games , amazing stuff. I saw thousands of horror movies , played almost all relevant games in the genre..and none of those made me feel so scared and lost , so intense.. 10/10 for this masterpiece. Hopefully we'll get more of these PT episodes until the real deal comes. Horror fans this is what are you waited for.. all this time !

I agree 100%, the atmosphere especially is great. This is one of those games you need to play in the middle of the night with a roll of toilet paper after you shit yourself

An adult size potty should prevent soiled underwear lol
just played this and I have mix feelings so far, initially I could feel the suspense but then I just got a little bored with the repetition and ended up just moving quickly through it. I got to the point after you start in the room the second time and the numbers appear (I have subtitles on).
I had to go at this point but will give it another try. I just didn't find it as scary as I felt it was going to be and it got a bit predicable ( ... oh no the door is now closed, I wonder what will happen when I get it it).

I will give it another run through and finish it
Wow really. I would play it more before you make judgement. It gets increasingly better!
yeah I will give it another run through. admittedly I was playing in the day and I did get that tense feeling at the start but just repeating the corridor didn't really freak me out, also the fact that I realised you couldn't die (yet anyway) it made it a little weaker.
I think the treat of death needs to be there for me.
