I used to, in 5 of 7 days the last weeks, 1-2 beer in the evening and on the weekend up to 5. I just thought that this maybe a bit unhealthy in the long run.

Yes, otherwise I get dehydrated!

More serious: I hardly drink alcohol these days and in the days that I did I rarely drank alcohol while gaming (hardly drank any alcohol at home). So in my entire life I can count those times on my hands.
Never been a beer drinker (just wodka and cocktails) so never got why people drink that every day. Think it's just a habit rather than enjoyment.

Since I was young and now I mostly drink Water, a glass of milk at times and in the weekend some soda in the evening.

yes it's totally normal for some people. but actually it's not.
atleast don't drink daily... if u have to drink keep it down to 1-2 days every week.

my father was an alcoholic also i had some friends which had those symptoms.
come on lets drink a beer it's already evening we have to drink and if u say no u r the idiot.
ofc that was not the only sign. drinking everythime. "hey we are on the beach lets drink" "hey we go to the cinema how do we smuggle some beers in "hey we are bored lets drink something." "man i really need a beer right now" (at 2pm...)

i'm just not that into alcohol... maybe because of my father.
instead i smoked weed like a maniac which wasn't better at all. it's down to a few gramms every month now but afterwards i still feel like shit. it's very hard to stay strong afterwards and not to buy the next stuff.

do what u want but don't do it on a daily basis and u should be fine.

A beer a day is fine by any standard, it's actually pretty good for your health.

Not sure it will help with the gaming though, reflexes might be a bit impaired, but creativity is often improved Very Happy

1-2 beers daily is actually not very harmful. Its when you drink 1-2 shots daily or 5-10 beers you should be worried.

I think this daily thing is bad in the long run... especially if youre an addictive person like me. Neutral
I was a heavy weed smoker, which nearly killed me (got some stretched stuff, which nearly gave me a heart attack), then i was a gaming addict, then i got sex addicted... so i guess i should be very aware of things that i do on a regular basis.

But at least im not alone... a lot of gaming alcoholics here Mr. Green

Oh paxsali... you live in a country with an insane amount of excellent, tiny, family-owned breweries, creating masterful beer... and you choose to drink that filth. *shakes head*

Me, I mostly drink in social settings. Drinking beer or wine alone while watching a movie or gaming happens once or twice a year tops. Then again social drinking happens 4-5 days a week for me Laughing

There is a new product here... Becks ICE Lime & Mint.

It's basically a replacement for Soda Water to me... Very Happy

EDIT: even looks like water.

I only drink when I'm going out, ironically for a drink, later on... Getting a buzz, playing some people online (SP is just way too boring when intoxicated) and preparing for the evening, it's a part of my weekly routine.

Also... that Becks ICE... bleh. We have all sorts of Becks here in the states... regular, light, dark, oktoberfest, sapphire... but not ICE.

In Germany beer is cheaper than bottled water, so its no wonder why people has a beer or two daily.

I try to keep alcohol a weekend only thing, but after buying cheap tax free cases of beer I do drink more often. So I guess the Norwegian Swedish Finish way of high beer tax actually works. But when thats said a beer or two is something totally different than those who drink 0.5L vodka every day :/
Its not a coincidence that life expectancy for Russian males are 60.

You Germans are so damn proud of your purity law (water, barley, hops). Bought two cases of warsteiner and it was pretty much like cheap beer here in Norway brewed the same way. So, not again
