Ok, this totally fucking with my mind here...
I have a mediocre music collection of classic rock, blues and other stuff (~2000 files with ~500 of which I listen to regularly). Since I got an android phone I decided to try out the google music thingamajig. I uploaded all my files. They are stored perfectly, I can access them without problems. So far so good.
The thing that boggles my mind are two particular songs. The first is La Grange from ZZ Top. I had this mp3 for a few years now. I didn't redownload it, I didn't do anything to it. For all intents and purposes it should be the same mp3 file I downloaded all those years ago. Yet now it turned into a bit botched karaoke version. Like someone isolated the singing and muted it, slightly messing up the guitar parts here and there.
Again, it should still be the same file since as far as I know, the google music thing is just an online storage for sound files.
The other, much more baffling case is 'Here Comes the Sun' by the Beatles. It was always a song that was in my playlists before so I know it was the original song.
Now it turned into an amateurish, vulgar "parody" version, 'Here Comes the Cum'...
Searching the web gave no results. So far all my other mp3s appear to be perfectly fine and still be the original songs, except for these two. For this reason I kinda rule out any kind of joke-virus or something along those lines.
