Either i have bad luck, or electronic products bought directly from chinese are just crap.

I bought 3 RGB LED stripes in the last few weeks from different brands.
Only 1 of them (still works) as intended.

One showed wrong lights and the remote had some wrongly assigned buttons on it.
Of course i wrote a 1-star review for it on Amazon and send it back.
Rather unexpected then the seller contacted me and we talked a bit. In the end he send me a new product completely for free again. He didn't care that i already got the money back from Amazon from the retoure. Laughing

Now i wanted to install another strip on my TV. Everything seemed to work fine.
Till after ~15min the receiver-unit stopped working. Wanted to see if the product is still in stock on Amazon, so i can get it changed out.
Of course it's not in stock anymore since a few days. Funnily just after the negative reviews started to become more. Laughing

Now there are no more 5050 RGB LED strips with 300 LEDs and under 20€ available. Embarassed
Fuck this shit.

How hard can it be to produce a simple LED-strip with the needed simple electronics.

most of them are shit and only high rated because of bought reviews.
just look at them reviews like "i got it for free so i can write a review for this product" under the products. as soon as i see this shit i will not buy it no matter what it is and how much i want it.
fucking assholes ruining amazon with this shit.

@ matrix
Bias lighting can help increase visual contrast of insufficient black levels and possibly reduce eye strain due to reduced dynamic range.

I prefer no lights and good black levels though Razz

Yep, that's why after 2 years i finally wanted to put them on my Samsung TV. Laughing
As it has some annoying clouding near the edges during dark scenes.

@M4trix
Google "ambient lighting tv"

Or install laser pointer directed at your eyes. You will no longer notice any clouding, not even in the sky.
