I recall back when I had an ATI card, that there was some software available that you could run, and it would shut down unnecessary services and background tasks in Windows with the click of a button.
Ideally, you would launch the app prior to gaming, and then disable when finished.
That was years ago, and since I've sided with Nvidia and don't want ANY ATI/AMD shit on my machine at all (sorry)
Anything available these days that does the same?

on a serious note, there was one called razer game booster that does things like that.
But I will say that these programs for most part turn off shit that would not bother the system in the slightest anyhow. |
