1) Not for the first time, I've caught myself looking at a cliffside or a tree when I'm out and.. I shit you not, subconsciously thinking "Holy shit, those textures are incredible! Shocked"
2) I was talking to my wife earlier, she was in the kitchen and I couldn't make out what she said because a car drove by and it was pretty loud ... so I hit the "mute" key on my keyboard Facepalm

I think I have mentioned that before, but a while back in the morning after some really late-night Battlefield sessions, when someone would approach me at work and ask something while I was at the PC, I would press my designated Push To Talk button while replying Very Happy

Not nowadays, but back in the Oblivion days I used to catch myself thinking "Wow that distant landscape view is really good" while driving through the woods Laughing

I have this regularly Laughing The anti-aliasing in the real world is very impressive. Excellent color reproduction, wide FOV and uber tesselation. Spectacular reflections and normal maps when its raining Wink Smooth FPS and no LCD motion blur! Now that I have a screen with a really high contrast I keep comparing the black levels too, observing light and dark areas. And the findings are it comes awfully close now... I didnt expect this to be so important but it enhances everything.

Sometimes I see lightshafts in a slightly foggy morning and think that these godray effects are amazing here. Laughing

Less of an "oh right" moment, but whenever I see any kind of urban-decay sort of view (or just any sort of run-down soviet era architecture), I immediately imagine myself going through it with a pimped out AK, playing hide and seek with a bloodsucker while blind-dogs howl in the distance. Razz

Recently I was playing PayDay 2 and then in every store or supermarket I went I was looking for the camera placement, what would be the best placement when we go loud, whats the best escape route, potential good cover positions when the cops arrive, what to take, etc. Laughing Its sad because it comes naturally, I am not even trying to think about it, it just pops out Sad

I was playing BF3 religiously when it came out and was riding with a friend and I think it was a street light that had a reflection on it and I flinched really hard. Friend looked at me like "Wtf is wrong with you". Dude...thought I saw scope glare lol.
