Summary of a 50 minute discussion that goes over a lot of topics and positions?
OK, here it is:
They discuss whether feminism is necessary or not. Karen thinks it isn't, Antigone is on some sort of anarchy fence, and Naomi Wolf seems like she hates Karen. All of them discuss "history" and all seem to have their own view of it.

Four women sit there, one is a pretty smart one (who doesn't believe in feminism really) who brings forth great points which happen to go against what the others are saying and basically, they don't let her finish her point half the time and basically go "lalalala I'm not hearing you" and try to derail every point she makes by waffling on about something unrelated.
That's feminism right there - Karen brings up great points and what do the other three do (who are both moderate feminists - although I'm sure at least one of them is more than moderate and just hiding it to avoid stigmatisation)? They ignore her, side track her, refuse to talk issue about what she's saying. She's educated and gives actual factual examples - the others can't give ANYTHING like it and just talk typical bullshit - vague terms, vague things. "It happens".
I think this is a perfect example why modern feminism should die. Focus on the women in countries that haven't reached this point yet - don't try to squeeze society for every extra advantage when you already have soooo many advantages over men! If you believe in female rights so much, DO SOMETHING for those in the Middle East and Asian countries!

Where I live? Fuck yes.
- loads and loads of administrative jobs prefer women here regardless of skill - 90+% of all clients, use female correspondents while most dirty or less attractive jobs (with lower pay) are taken by men (according to a recent study over 90% is male as well - and many of these jobs could easily be done by women as well).
- loads of social advantages - basically, men are pretty much whipped here and women basically get to say what goes and what doesn't.
- almost certain child custody

- special laws to help out single mothers - single fathers get squat

Female clients that just go ballistic without ANY reason and people just go "ah well, must be female issues". A guy goes ballistic and suddenly he's a crazed fool.
etc. etc. etc. etc.
There's a reason I chose to be single - my best friends got engaged one by one and I saw their social life crumble. When they came over, they got called by their gfs within 5 minutes bitching for them to go home. Same with every male colleague at work - work overtime? First got to call home to ask, often leading to long discussions over the phone. Wife does overtime? Guy gets a text message telling him to pick up the kids. THAT is modern reality. So advantages? FUCK YES THEY HAVE.
EDIT: maybe I should tell a small example of how bad it is. I'm a graphic designer and during my course, there were 13 women and 4 guys. After evaluation (including temping for a few months) the ranking went as follows: I got top marks, followed by two other guys and then the girls. The fourth guy was in 10th place or so. No problem, I was top of my class so I was sure I'd get a job soon.
A year later and guess what?
- none of the guys had jobs
- 12 of the 13 women had jobs. The last woman was of Spanish origin and couldn't speak French (second language here) and barely the main language (Dutch)
So I talked to the counselor (female) who admitted that there was a huge bias against males in this industry and that the same was so of many other industries. In fact, ALL industries where there's contact with clients in some way or other.

Oh come on, you're exaggerating quite a bit about Belgium, don't act the same like they do.
The way you present it is of balance, I mean... change that text from woman to foreigners and guess how you sound then.
There are problems, for everyone, it's just that people usually try to make their case stronger.

I'm not exaggerating - West Flanders is pretty damn bad in this case. It gets better the more east you go but here? Fucking right it's unfair for guys. If you can counter anything I've said go ahead and I'll give you more RL examples. I've seen too much crap the past 10-15 years to not believe what I said.
I've also been at the end of year-long harassment from working in a predominantly female environment where my complaints went ignored.

For all your examples there are counter examples. All my friends in your field got a job, never heard them whine about how hard it is to get a job if you are a man.
Hiring people goes further than just grades, attitude matters among other stuff.
And if West-Flanders is so bad: move? It's not like Belgium is that big. Try the Kempen seeing that my friends have a job  (Tho Never heard my buddies from Tielt whine about that either)
My point was that you are acting almost as radical as the feminists. To me it seems you convinced yourself that it's that bad.
While I can believe you had a bad experience here or there, that doesn't mean it's everywhere like that, let alone that being the majority.

So a random work counselor has supposedly said there is a bias means that I have to disregard the experiences from actual persons in that field?

U don't have to trust her if she manipulates statistics to prove her point, thats what they all do, she probably writes a doctorate on the subject and is trying to get more merit to it.
It is interesting how she dosen't point out that most industries overall are bias against women.

I never understand why they need to change an existing character instead of creating a new one. Not to mention Thor is based on actually existing mythology where he is clearly male.
There are plenty of real world mythologies about women, are they really that unable to start something from there? The only thing they are doing now is create spite and frustration among fans.

How come it's actually blown so out of proportion lately? I see it more as a last year trend than anything else. At least before they put their attention to important things rather than this attention whoring on silly things.
And then you have these companies who actually think it's a bigger problem than pissing off their current fanbase or delusional that moves like this means getting a bigger market

Those CIS-scum women don't understand that PIV is harmful rape against men, do they really think men would voluntarily put their penis in some acidic cavern?! Society has been built against men where men are forced to put their manhood in places where acidic levels are dangerously high.
