Well, that video was rather monotone, no melody, flatbread lyrics, etc. Enter Sandman, this ain't.
After St. Anger got universally panned I didn't even bother to pirate it, and if the titular song is this meh, the album need to have glowing reviews for me to give a fuck.

I'm really getting into old Metallica recently, pre-Black Album stuff. With the Black one, you start hearing the diminishing quality, but every album before that is simply awesome.
Current favorite is the The Call of Cthulhu, amazing song!
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Very much agree. There are a few songs from BA, (re)load that I listen to rarely, but I completely lost touch with the band with St. Anger. In retrospect I dont particularly like SM either.
May be weird but I have to admit there are a few songs on Garage Inc. I really like for their drive. Some of those covers really grew on me.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Some still say that we don't get it, because it's a sophisticate container of avant garde sonorities
I think it's the musical equivalent of eating a pudding made of chocolate and ketchup xD
Haven't had the chance to listen to this one yet, only the launch song available on the tube, which isn't bad to be honest, just fairly simplistic and straightforward. Will listen to the rest *soon*
