Last weekend I went to the countryside with some friends.
Nice house, sauna, cold beer etc.

Part of our activities was running in the forest.
During of which some plant splashed it' juice onto one side of my face. Didn't pay much attention to it since I wiped it off rather quickly.
And then... a few days later, after getting back to the city I shaved and after that noticed the top layer of my skin had sort of peeled off under my chin. About 5x5mm patch.
First I thought it had something to do with razor being old or something like that but no... every day since then has gotten me to peel off another patch of skin. Luckily smaller.
I can only rub them with some ointment I got from the drug store since the damaged part doesn't show until I say.. rest my head on one hand and do some rubbing movement which again causes the skin to come off Sad

Fucking annoying thing to happen. And it is healing extremely slow too Sad
Currently I look like I have had huge zits and instead of popping them I cut them off.

That's good to hear. I'd guess a trained professional will have a better chance to make it better than a bunch of nerds on a gaming forum. Very Happy

Is the exposed area hurts or is it sensitive to touch?

Some kind of an infection perhaps.

I remember one time I was walking outside and felt something wet behind my ear. Since it was raining just before, I figured I got some water on me off of the trees. As I wiped it with my hand I actually managed to scratch it a little (got some skin off). It felt like your typical unpleasant scratch, but after a couple of days I noticed that it wasn't really healing. In fact it seemed like it was getting worse - spreading and getting deeper. It was going in cycles: it would seemingly start to heal and get covered up, but after a while when I'd clean it up, it would be back to square one except bigger. Was like that 3 or 4 times for a week. Felt like some flesh eating bacteria were chewing my ear off Surprised

Eventually, I just opened it all up, washed thoroughly and burned with alcohol. Seemed to heal real quick after that.

Never seen anything like that before or since. It was rather small, mind you, and I don't have any visible traces left, but at the time it was kinda beginning to freak me out Very Happy

So yeah, it's good idea to seek professional help. Never know what kind of freaky stuff nature can throw at you even in these parts of the world...

How dare you, sir? I will have you know I have had a sexual relationship and by sexual I mean we actually had coitus several times. This relationship has ended some years ago but I am proud to state that with the experience I gathered I now consider myself a sex connoisseur. Combined with years of studying pornographic material since then I can safely say that the female anatomy is no longer alien to me.

But the good thing is my face is healing well. Hope the doctor won't discover an infection under my skin.

By the way, I'm typing this on my phone while travelling by bus to another countryside adventure Very Happy
That answers for the internet part and I hope I don't get something new like a tick for example Razz

Haha, as someone who lives in the countryside, I can relate to many of the unfortunate situations that has been mentioned in this thread xD
Last summer for example I got bitten by one of these ugly mofos in the neck, and had to go to the hospital for a cortisone injection because of the allergic reaction :/

Get well Difm! Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Back from the doctor. She gave me some special thing to rub on my pretty face Smile
Should be fine within 3-5 days. If not then it'll be time to bring out some hardcore stuff (something new and extra strong as she put it).

I've gotten away pretty well so far, only 1 small hole-like thing right under the cheekbone (not a through-the-skin-hole luckily).
