There's a teaser trailer here featuring would you believe it, snow.
I really enjoyed the first Uncharted and even though the characters and setup are far from original I still feel like revisiting the universe, meeting the characters again and continuing the story. If they at least get that part right it'll be a success in my eyes. Can't wait.
The teaser trailer was apparently rendered in real time on the PS3 if you're interested, and there will be a 'première' of the game at the SpikeTV awards along with Mafia II and God Of War III, and maybe some others. Jack Black is hosting  |

cant wait - and god of war is my all time favourite franchise.
the ps3 have not said its last word yet.

Sweet...looking forward to this as I loved the first one. I love adventure games too and adding in history with it (obviously with liberties) makes it even more interesting.

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I can't see those screens being pulled of by the PS3. Hell, those screens would probably need a last gen GPU. Those are supposed to be ingame right? Not from a CGI trailer? We'll see I guess.

Well, they said that the first game only used 30% of the PS3.
I think these could be ingame screens, but probably not a a reasonbale framerate. But I do believe that the PS3 does still have some power that is unused, mainly because most games are created for multiple platforms, and games don't convert too well on PS3.
So I expect quite an improvement for the PS3 exclusive titles...

I don't know though. The screens look like a progressive update to the original Uncharted to me - and there's the PS3 stalwart of lots of aliasing to boot. Well, reading the thread; unless the Naughty Dog employee is lying, they are completely real, genuine shots of the game.

Have you seen Uncharted ? It doesn't look much worse than those screens of U2. |

I think the PS3 could pull it off. It looks like a sharper, more vibrant Gears of War 2, which should certainly be possible given Naughty Dog's pedigree.

I have just played the beta mp and all i can say is that i am all ready hooked on it. On fileplanet if you got a membership you can get a key. And if you don't live in US just find a free us proxy.

I think more than anything the cinematic quality in that trailer is what gets me excited. It means another extremely strong singleplayer adventure. With Bogo's comment maybe we can also look forward to a nice multiplayer component as well, but it's the story elements that has me excited.

Looks extremely well for a beta multiplayer game. I spent a couple hours last night (probably why I was late to work today) and I was just shocked at the graphics. Just like uncharted 1, everything looks amazing. Anyway, the gameplay is simple, there is a deathmatch and a capture the treasure(flag) type game. I did a lot of the capture the treasure and I can say that it is very interesting. It sometimes requires you to toss the treasure on to broken buildings and such to actually capture it. Against a great team with good synergy, you will get your ass handed to you. You can toss the treasure to people who climb into the area, so that you can protect them and move the treasure a lot faster. Guns are easy to handle, great to aim with. The cover system needs a little work, but it does the job in shoot outs. The grenades is another story. I never really liked them in this game, but you can be very strategic with them if you know what you are doing.
The only bad things about the the beta is that the maps seem way to small and don't have a lot of things you can climb on. I'm sure that will be changed way before release. Also the chain gun is kind of cheap. I manage to snipe a whole team down with it like it was a sniper rifle. It has way too much accuracy and you can pretty much shoot the thing from anywhere. Overall, I'll give the beta a 9/10 because it is fun, beautiful, and for a beta, it runs like a champ.

If i start the beta i cant find any players with matchmaking i am already waiting for 15mins.
Update: Still nothing, even on my US account. Is there something wrong wit the servers atm?
How is it possible that the beta is not working on my PS3? i disabled my firewall and everything, i can connect to the MP server but at matchmaking it is searching forever and doesnt find any players?
Update: NVM i finally managed to find some players, COOP is great fun!

Played some co-op beta today, pretty generic... ;p
Feels good though. Controls feel good, graphics are spectacular, animations and gunplay look/feel very nice.
But it did feel like any other 3rd person shooter... Not really a bad thing I guess, that means it's another quality title to enjoy.
