Tell me about it. I cleaned my radiator/fans from dust about two weeks ago, it was nearly silent after that.

Recently we got hit with high temperature wave and it's sounds like a jet engine now!

We had around 27°C, but yeah it climbed up to around 30°C middle of the day. Cave in was useful opening all windows and letting air come through, if at all Laughing

Another week like this and I'll have to bring my poor CPU to stock values again, just like last summer. As if my average framerate in games wasn't low enough xD Laughing

Such temperatures are cool if you have a pool in your garden to cool down (much cool)
Sadly we don't have one Crying or Very sad
We had about 30°C since some days now, but tomorrow it will be at around 23° for the next days Cool
But worst problem with those high temperatures is sleeping at night, when it still is nearly 20°C Embarassed

Of course a dumb post by some random idiot was to be expected. You do realize heat tolerance levels are different depending what you're used to right?!

20C is quite comfortable, why would it be bad for sleeping?

Now 30C is hell...

Maybe you're sick then?

I mean, sure, you're used to the cold, -20C or whatever, but I'm sure you don't sleep in such cold temps, your room is probably somewhat close to 20C even during winter (with the heater obviously).

Well, i don't have a Thermometer where i'm living, but the sun heats up the rooms quite a lot. So when it's 20 degrees +/- and no skies outside then it's a painful existence for me Razz I'm a big guy and pretty warm at all times so i tolerate the cold pretty well, but when it heats up then it's a nightmare. I don't really sweat much though, just when i'm working out.

30 degrees here (NL) is worse than 40 in Italy for me.

That's humidity for you.

And yes, then there is human tolerance. The last few summers here have been nuts, not what we're used to.

When the winter comes, at 10 degrees I'm kind of cold, then after a month or so something clicks and I'm super fine until about -10.
Then summer comes, at 28 degrees I'm super hot, then again after a month or so something clicks and I'm super fine until about 34.

There are moments, when 24 degrees is too cold for me in the summer, and in the winter 24 degrees is too hot for me. Very Happy

And the only difference between my summer and winter clothes is if I wear a blouse above my t-shirt, and I always wear jeans.

33 yesterday, 26 around 10 pm...Dunno how low it went before sunrise, but I'll bet no less than 20. Temperatures aren't that bad themselves - humidity is killing me. Now it's 25 degrees and 65% humid, and it's after a storm few hours ago.

I know what you mean, it was hell on earth when I was in Italy with 36C, but not as bad as 33C here in my city... at least it's quite rare to be that hot here.

But I still think 20C is fine for anyone. Maybe not what you're really happy about, but not uncomfortable. Most airconditioning systems are set for 19~22C because it's comfortable.

For winter I can wear many layers of clothes and survive easily, but summer, my son. Summer is the ultimate test of manhood! *raises pointer finger*
and yes let's switch places, weather will be the least of your worries. Very Happy

You're not testing your manhood with multiple layers of clothing during winter! A tshirt and a normal jacket is all i need, tshirt only is ok, but not for long walks. More than that and i'm overheating Razz I guess i'm more or less the opposite of you guys Razz
