Hi guys I have a question and I couldn't figure it out on my own. So help would be much appreciated.

I live in the Netherlands and im planning to move to Turkey. I want to send my computer and flat screen tv to Turkey, so I can use those there. The thing is I googled and couldn't find a transport company I could use to send these items. Because it's mainly focused on delivering goods for companies.

http://www.samsung.com/nl/consumer/tv-audio-video/televisions/tv-archive/UE40D5000PWXXN-spec

This is my tv, lets say I want to send this from the Netherlands to Turkey. How much would it cost me?

I hope someone can help me with this Smile

Selling it in NL and buying a new one in Turkey will cost less

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

TV is too risky, eventho it was packed quite good my monitor broke down a week after I moved it from Belgium to Sweden.

I used one of the transportation companies and send all my stuff through on a pallet. Have worked with import and export and in a moving company so have experience how to pack it and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't used of that kind of dealings.

I checked International movers and well you don't want to use that for just a tv and pc.
Too expensive, then you are better off with a company like DHL and the likes, but then again: you need to pack it really good + insurance (not worth it for a tv in my opinion).

So for the TV, check prices in Turkey, I just sold mine and bought a new one in Sweden (In my case it was an older TV anyway).

I can help you with the pc tho...
I took it with me on the plane, in a travel case wrapped in bubble plastic and surrounded by towels and clothing so it couldn't move and all shocks were absorbed
Had to pay 20€ for the extra weight. Arrived perfectly with no dent or scratch
