I'm not making it public yet. We don't even know how much we should ask for. The car is fine and has lots of new parts (like the breaks, gears/transmissions & etc.)
It has lots of extra stuff in it like the "plus" soundsystem with 10 speakers, winter package, fog lights & etc.
I was looking at the prices here in Italy (Quattroruote.it) and the same model (Comfortline) from 2004 is around ~6500€ on average, so with the accessories that you mentioned and new parts that range shouldn't be far off I think
(wait for the experts though! I know nuthin' - except for the fact that I'd buy it asap if only I had ze monies xD)
7k? ok, thanks guys. maybe I'll set the price to like 7449, because I'm sure they will try to go down with the price. then I might be able to sell it for 7k.
Or should I set the price to 7k and then go down a bit with the price (like 100-200 bucks) to like 6800?
I'd advertise for 7500 so you got more wiggle room. When I sold my 206, I put it up for 2500 (listed day-value was 1750), got two guys who both were willing to pay 2250 (my 206 was very well maintained so in great condition for its 12 years of age). Never heard again from either though and eventually traded it in for 2250 just the same.
Yours looks to be quite well maintained too so you should be able to get close to what you ask for it. I'd probably get 9 grand for mine if I sold it now (2.0 FSI Sportline) so around 7 grand sounds about right for a TDI with that mileage in Germany

It depends how fast you need the money really. If you got time, then maybe 7500 € would be great place to start . Later if there is no interest, you can drop the price a bit
Price seemed high when I looked at this thread last night. I looked on Autotrader and you can get a newer 1.9 TDI with less mileage for a fair bit cheaper.
You never actually said why are you selling it?
Nevermind us, but the potential buyer might also want to know.
because:
Spoiler:
some of you may remember my other Mercedes from last year. I had to cancel that order because my mother wanted me to invest some of that money into our 3rd house & stuff. I agreed, but only if I can sell our Golf after a year and get a slightly cheaper Mercedes for it (1 year used ones by Mercedes employees, they have like 8000 km-13000 km on them).
I made a test drive with this C200 (184 hp / 7G automatic) with AMG-Sytling, but I don't like the color. I want it in White. So, there no rush to sell the Golf atm. Im checking the Mercedes Benz Employee network everday for a white one. I also have an appointment with them on the 25th. They want to check my Golf and make me an offer, but I don't expect much from them.
hahaha, sorry but if i saw that video, id go 'wow... cool editing... well done!'
and then i wouldn't buy it, because i knew it was owned by a fucking teenager who probably was doing donuts with it in the parking lot just before making the video

You need to compare extras too, what packages are included, rims, tires etc.
Extras can add up to nearly 1/4 of the original car price.
Also cars from VAG group experience a slower price loss with years.

best of luck with the sale
You know, here in germany we drive more safely than anyone else. I'm a 28 year old man who isn't into fucking up his car. Maybe if I was 18 yeah...then maybe
@StrEagle: yea that's it and it has almost every extra that this car can have from VW, including the winter package(pre-heating the car, seat heating), which kept my ass warm all winter
