So went with a 4770k, msi g43 z87 board and evo cooler master 212.

Mobo, i researched and it looked pretty good on specs, don't care about SLI support, only want to be able to OC my cpu.

Cooler seemed like the cheapest/best performer as far as i could tell after browsing several sites yesterday/today for a moderate overclock (4.2-4.4 ghz).

And yeah, gonna pick them up today or tomorrow, so if you got any suggestions etc feel free to share.

Cheers.

Bit confused. i7 which model? And i'm guessing 34c isn't in load? I'm hoping somewhere along the lines of 70-80 degrees tops with a 4.4 OC.

yeah, bit confused about the 34°. I can't imagine it stays at 34° under load @ 4.3 ghz. Unless you live at in the artic or somewhere with your window open and the pc next to it ^^.

i personally love my nh D-14 tho granted not all memory fits under it and they didn't really solve the problem with the d15 now more memory fits under it but it's even wider than before which on some mobo layouts (like mine) makes it impossible to mount
